That's why I want you to understand that the environmental movement is fundamentally anti-human, it is fundamentally anti-human. And this bears the imprint of the Father of Lies because the Father of Lies, remember hates human beings. Why? Because we are made in the image of God. He wants to stamp out human beings because we remind him God. Well, environmentalists have the same exact agenda: they want to wipe humanity off the face of the globe. Do not be deceived about this; this is the ultimate goal of the environmentalists.

Made in the image of God? Are you implying that God has a wee-wee?

Let's turn Brother Fischer's swimming pool into a toxic waste repository and see what he has to say. Tell him it's part of God's eternal plan.

Don't let us forget: God invented the SUV himself and gave it to fat Americans to further their gluttonous environmental wastefulness.

Thank you God, thank you.

Comments like that is why intelligent people ignore fundamentalists when it comes to well-thought out, long term solutions to environmental problems. You are all morons who couldn't trouble yourselves to save on gas even if it was to save you money.
There should be an environmental tax on fundies and fundie churches. Enough of this crap.

I will never understand why people find a religious argument in something that should have nothing to do with religion.

I don't know how global flooding due to rising sea levels, which in turn would come from the melting ice caps because of global warming, helps to preserve humanity.

OK, we've heard Bryan Fischer's side. Let's hear what Bryan the Fish has to say.

Bryan the fish: (Says nothing with his eyes wide open, as if the stupid is too bizarre and wrong for him.)

Amazing! Simply replace environmentalists with gays/liberals/muslims/socialists/etc and you have every speech Fischer has given. How convenient!

Yes, because wanting to make sure we don't poison our world to the point that humans can't survive is anti-human...

environmentalists have the same exact agenda: they want to wipe humanity off the face of the globe.

Yeah. Them damn environmentalists. They know our grandchildren will need lots of toxic waste dumped in their air and lakes to keep them healthy. And they know that if antibiotics are good for us, we should have them in our milk and meat just for good measure. So they want to stamp that stuff out.

BTW, back in the 50's it was conservative Republicans who were all for the environment. They called it "conservation" back in those days and it was supported by the Boy Scouts and all those manly outdoors-men and hunters who formed the core of the Eisenhower generation. Just goes to show how the modern conservative has been suckered by Big Oil and Big Agriculture. Sad, really.

If environmentalists wanted to get rid of humanity, they would just sit back and wait for the industries to do it for them.

There IS a tiny movement advocating what you describe, but they are generally considered nuts by those few environmentalists who have even heard of them and they have no influence whatsoever.

By the way, I took a university course on environmental sustainability not too long ago. By "sustainability" we mean that we want to protect the Earth and our resources for the explicit reason that we need them to live. And it's not pretty. We as a species really do need to shape up, or we're going to pay the price for the way we have treated our home. Anyone who denies this is either ignorant, or an actual anti-human.

Is the point of the environmental movement not trying to make sure we've got somewhere habitable to live in the future? Which would suggest to me that it's actually pro-human. Just a thought. Oh, it's Bryan Fischer. Just forget I said anything.

Back in the Eocene, there was a creature called a Coryphodon. It weighed half a ton, had vicious teeth, and rejoiced in a brain that could have travelled around the world on two first-class postage stamps. It was the dumbest mammal that ever lived, and we all thought it went extinct as soon as something else got big enough to eat it. Well, maybe it didn't.

Welcome to Bryan Fischer world.

Here's how things work. Leaving a few trees standing in a forest causes massive unemployment at least a week earlier than it would have happened anyway. This hurts the whole town. Not drilling in the Alaskan Wildlife refuge makes Petroleum Jesus cry. All those oil executives must be God's chosen people because of their favored status after all. Caring for the environment thwarts God's Plan. We humans are supposed to destroy all lower life forms and cover the earth like a swarm of locusts. That's when Armageddon will happen and everyone who was ever mean and sarcastic to Bryan Fischer will die and anyone just like Bryan Fischer will go to Heaven on God's magic escalator (he saw it in a Chick tract) where God will pat them on the head and call them good boys and they can all be narcissists together the end.

"environmentalists have the same exact agenda: they want to wipe humanity off the face of the globe."

Didn't you mean;

environmentalists by trying to stop the destruction of the remaining forests, the toxic pollution of the waters and the oceans, the extinction of many species, and drastic changes to the earths climate are costing corporations money that should instead be paying increased shareholder dividends to the rich.

Bryan I'm starting to think that you care a lot more about the profits of your sponsors than you do the lives of your "flock." (or care about God for that matter)

I agree...HAIL SATAN!

Not the selfish, Objectivist, social-darwinist, LaVeyan concept of Satan, mind you....rather a Gnostic, Luciferian, New Agey NeoPaganish concept.

Fundie God is the REAL Devil/Satan whereas the character/concept dubbed "Satan" is a misunderstood Promethean being called Lucifer (Light-Bearer/Morning Star).

Jesus was also called "Morning Star".

I think the Gnostics were on to something....
