This is an old piece of bullshit based on one very flawed study conducted twenty-five years ago (i.e. when we knew very little about AIDS prevention). When more recent studies are done and controlling for early HIV infections, they show that, what a shock, gay men have roughly the same life expectancy as the general population.

It's well documented that gay men do generally receive much more mental healthcare than their straight counterparts, but that's primarily your fault.
But of course this is most likely yet another mindlessly parroted reference to HIV and queer men. All I have to say to that is that less than 1% of all public-healthcare spending in the US is on HIV/AIDS treatment, and that amount includes members of all genders and orientations.
How does legalizing gay marriage cause homosexuals to magically appear? NYC has ALWAYS had a comparatively high LBGTQ population.
