I could agree that our country has been "sold and bought" in a way--large corporations have an unacceptable amount of influence over the political process due to the wealth that they control.
Why would they want to ban guns to eliminate all of their customers?

Yes, it should happen any minute now. I mean, it’s not that you are waiting four years now that Obama is starting his nation-wide ban on guns (and all the other stuff you are saying he will do to make himself dictator/kaliph/great chairman/etc.). It cannot be much longer. I tell you, any minute now

Probably some time just after the War of Independence. Ain't gonna happen (which in my opinion is something of a pity).

Every time a gun nut trots out the claim that the Second Amendment was intended to allow citizens to defend themselves against the government, I ask him to tell me exactly what he plans to do if the 82nd Airborne shows up on his doorstep one morning.
