I just debated an evolutionist on EVC forum who made the false statement that apes & humans can interbreed. This is the kind of lie on which the theory of evolution is based. He admitted it, and I proved the theory of evolution is a lie so we ended the debate.

How much do you want to bet that the \"evolutionist\" who supposedly said that apes and humans can interbreed was saying something completely sensible, that the other party simply didn't understand, a la the Carico thread?

Indeed, Nuggin (a.k.a. the \"evolutionist\") stated:

\"Apes are not a species. \"Apes\" refers to the superfamily Hominoidea. That superfamily contains the family Hylobatidae (gibbons and \"lesser apes\") and the family Hominidae (gorillas, chimps, humans, bonobos, orangs - the \"great apes\").\"

He then went on to say that as humans are, in fact, apes, humans can therefore breed with apes.

Not the best way to state it, but it's pretty obvious what he's trying to convey.

Ah, as with the last couple of threads Carico was in over in EVCforum, she makes an idiotic assertion, gets called on it, repeats the assertion, gets told just how dumb the assertion is, repeats the same assertion, and then declares victory, as well as informing her opponent of their concession.

After failing spectactularly to understand that Humans ARE by definition Apes, Nuggin posted the following definition of \"ape\" from Wiki (which Carico was using for definitions elsewhere):

That was the end of the thread.

So I'm not sure where she thought \"He admitted it, and I proved the theory of evolution is a lie so we ended the debate.\"

In fact, it resulted in her posting priveleges being revoked because she couldn't understand such simple principles in debate (as in, definitions).

Good, i'm glad she finally suffered some consequences for her idiocy. They were giving her a free pass there for way too long. I read that entire thread and was disgusted by how stupid and juvenile one person could act. I personally think she has some sort of undiagnosed autism.

I too have followed some of her threads and it is absolutely maddening how stubborn she can be. She hears what she wants, lies, and repeats herself over and over and over.

On top of it she claims to have studied evolution (take that as you will) for thirty years, yet she still believes that evolution is about humans having sex with monkeys. Truly a freak of nature.

OTHER GUY: I think we can both agree that we should start with the very basics. Evolution heavily implies a very old Earth, right?

CARICO: NO! The Earth isn't millions of years old! God says so!

OTHER GUY: Carico, I'm not asking you to agree that the Earth is millions of years old, just that a very old Earth is involved, however indirectly, with the theory of evolution.

CARICO: MOVING ON! The theory of evolution says that zebras can suddenly turn into apples.

OTHER GUY: Not even close. A.) Those are two existing species, and evolution is the modification of a species into an entirely new species, that is, the end result couldn't breed with its ancestors.

CARICO: But wouldn't apes have to breed with humans to produce humans? [The total disregard for logic, and the implication that evolution states that a species can only be produced by members of its own (currently existing) species breeding, possibly with members of other species, hurt me to write.]

OTHER GUY: Well, humans are apes.
