The latest establishment scam in the UK, is to describe child prostitutes as “vulnerable children groomed for sexual exploitation”, then talk about them being “passed around” etc, without mention of the fact that these young people agreed to be whores, and are getting paid for it.

The Times is very keen to perpetuate this “child exploitation” narrative – it’s usually Pakistani men who are the pimps and punters (Jons) of these sometimes under-age white girls – and this gives the far right wing EDL the chance to jump on the bandwagon and stir up similar stories about brown men praying on white girls (when it’s more often the other way round, the whores).

Age of consent. Have these people heard of it? I don't know how these things work in the UK but, in North America, an adult having sex with someone who is not legally able to consent to it, either due to mental capacity or by actual age, is effectively committing rape. They can say as much as they like that the kid agreed to it, but it's still considered rape by the law.

I don't know what the laws are in the UK, but here in the States it's generally agreed that children can't give consent to have sex. Not to mention the fact that it's just plain wrong to exploit children into becoming prostitutes, let alone having sex with children.

I don't know how young you mean, but a man who has sex with an eleven-year-old is both a pedophile and a rapist, a man over eighteen who has sex with a fourteen-year-old is in most jurisdictions a statutory rapist, and being under the age of majority means lack of contractual capacity. Coercing a woman of any age into prostitution is a very serious offense, and you have quite neatly managed to defame two groups you hate in one morally cretinous statement.

Still, reading the comments, I have to say statutory rape laws in the US are really buckfut stupid too, as ingrained as they might have becomed in the public consciousness. We should probably help paedophiles not to harm anyone, and should definitely try and get the child prostitutes back into a normal childhood & education. After all prevention is better than cure, and if you don't fix things they tend to stay broken.

However child prostitutes are not legally able to give consent, and so they are, by definition, victims. Now I can see the odd 14-15 year old post-pubescent seeing prostitution as easy money with the bonus of being able to throw responsibility onto the customer, but that's probably a minority of the ones near enough at age of consent (16 for the UK), let alone actual children.

And for reference, 'Manboobz' is the site that's highlighting this loon. Mr Manboobz himself is a self-defined male feminist who's pastime is highlighting anything anyone says that's misogynistic (in his opinion - your mileage may vary).
