Quote# 8850

When I joined this...a long time ago...I never posted on the forums. I just have recently. I was surprised at the mass amounts of atheists on here. And you know what? I had no problem with it...until all of you just continually made fun of our faith and tried to prove us wrong with your giant egos and giant brains filled with knowledge that won't matter someday anyway. The Last Conformist

God damn those evil people with brains filled with knowledge.

You don't think there's a conspiracy going on between the evil interstates and these freaks with giant brains, do you?

Quit believing ridiculous things and we won't ridicule you. Deal?

\"giant brains filled with knowledge\"

I suppose someone feels stupid today.

The truly bizarre part is that April is so perversely proud of her ignorance.

I guess she is at least honest in that respect, which is more than I can say for many of the others quoted here.

Aw, you hurt my giant ego. But that's okay, I'll just inflate it again with some of the knowledge from my giant brain.

What is \"the mass amounts of atheists\"? Does it have to be in kilograms or pounds? Do aethists have a different mass than other people? I believe this person could be intimidated by the \"giant brains\" of Homo erectus.

You see, the inertia of the \"mass amounts of atheists\" is actually so great that it curves space time away from God.

Maybe the \"mass amounts of atheists on here\" comment is calling us fat? :-D

But seriously, the \"giant brains filled with knowledge\" comment reminded me of Futurama, especially, the episode \"The Why of Fry\", where the following exchange occurred:

Ken: \"For a thousand years, the evil Brains have been constructing the Infosphere, a giant memory bank twice the size of three ordinary memory banks.\"
Fry: \"What's so evil about that?\"
Fiona: \"They plan to collect all the information in the universe and store it in the sphere.\"
Fry: \"So they're trying to learn things?\"
Fiona: \"Right.\"
Fry: \"Those bastards!\"
Nibbler: \"Being Brains, they feel compelled to know everything. And soon they will.\"
Fry: \"I'm as mad as I've ever been.\"

You know in a way, I'd like to join Myspace, but I don't have time for rutting against people who can't understand why the word Proctor-Silex is stencilled on their forehead.

Pot meet kettle.

It is little wonder to me that Athiests have such a hard time respecting you. If they don't agree with you, they're rude and ignorant.

1/5/2006 3:00:06 AM

I vote we adopt the nickname \"Giant Brains\" for atheists.

1/5/2006 1:07:28 PM

Looks like it was a good idea not to resolve to get a whole idea out. It'd have been broken a few hours after new ear's. But hey, I'll keep trying in spite of it.

I followed that thread. The athiests were more civil than April and the Christian that started that thread. Although there ARE toxic idiots in the athiest community, they aren't any worse than the toxic idiots in the Christian one. It would appear, though, as long as someone agrees with her, she thinks they're kind and civil. If they disagree, they're rude and ignorant.

If I had to draw my conclusions from that thread, I'd say that it's the a bigger slice of believers who can't tell the difference with stating a difference of opinion and making fun of what people believe and trying to prove them wrong.

That's why it's called a discussion forum.

Ah never mind. :P

I feel oddly insulted and flattered at the same time.

I used to think it wouldn't be so bad to have a giant brain filled with knowledge. But then, I figured, my hats wouldn't fit anymore.

Three cheers for Sierra and her 'giant brain'...

This truly needs a \"THE DOCILE SHALL INHERIT THE EARTH\" award.

1/11/2006 12:35:36 AM

Now WHO has the giant ego???

1/16/2006 5:08:25 PM

\"The Docile Shall Inherit the Earth\" Award seconded.

1/20/2006 6:35:27 PM

what exactly do atheists believe?

1/31/2006 10:05:11 PM

Who is this woman? Invader Zim?

\"Why don't you go home and shave your giant head of [knowledge] with your bad self?\"

1/31/2006 11:00:08 PM

Atheists have giant brains? Nobody told me about that perk!

2/9/2006 6:05:49 PM

Sometimes people need to blow off steam, and you must admit some things in your religion are rediculous. These people probably were joking around. For the most part, atheists respect theists (and have theist freinds), just not necessarily some parts of their religion.
