Now watch nothing being done after the latest massacre to avoid it in the future and we are now taking bets on how long it will take until the next massacre.
When you have massacre after massacre, people are desensitized and quite frankly, after a long row of such massacres were nothing is being done to avoid others in the future, I have lost all my empathy with the victims - sorry!

The irony is that using the same fallacy, we could probably find some statistics to suggest the exact opposite of what policymic claims!

@ Khitty Hawk:
They make loud noises when they are scared, and the males are somewhat irrelevant to the hierarchy.... Sounds like Mike to me....
Point taken though. We have the same problem here that Jonathan Swift had with the term, "inhumane".

Yes, because when we had god in our schools, the military, and public conversations we had wonderful things like the slaughter of many native Americans, the enslavement of African Americans, and of course segregation.

In other words, god is so vain that he/she/it must constantly be the center of attention or people are gonna die.
And people worship this deity why?

The same reason why they keep electing the likes of Mike Huckabee into power. The only reason why he isn't still governor is because of a term limit.
Every nation has the government it deserves.

Oi! Nutter!
Not much of a deity if mere mortals can order it about. Oh! And you really should not anthropomorphise it either. I believe you need to have a word with Messrs. Spinoza and Paine.

Stop lying for Mike, Mike.
And, no, Mike, you aren't God nor will this make you God.
GTFU then STFU, then GTFO.

I guess you're right in a sense... if this country is a theoracry, then those same mentally distrubed people would be employed by the state and doing God's work when they kill those "enemies of the state and God".

Yes, clearly the issue is not mentally ill people having entirely too easy access to guns specificaly designed to mow down people en masse. The issue is that we aren't chanting to an invisible creature enough.
