You know the reason that you didn't hear about the people who don't believe in climate change? Not propaganda. It's that those people are total fucktards.

The antichrist has a green agenda? Do fundies realise the more they speak of satan and the antichrist the better they make the two sound? Do they think before they say these things?

So Satan is intent on making the world a better place for the next generation. If he wasn't a fictional character I'd thank him for caring about my children and their future children.

Stop using religion as an excuse to be a wasteful, polluting cunt. Would you shit in your living room then start using your furniture as firewood? No, so similarly it makes sense not to strip the planet bare of its resources and leave it a polluted, poisonous wasteland, because YOU have to live on it as well as everyone else. Daft cunt.

"Who knows though I'm just speculating."
Oh, is that what that was? I thought it was just a Rapture Ready goober letting his persecution complex run rampant.
"Just recently, maybe a year ago or a little bit longer I found out there's people who don't believe in global warming."
There are people who don't believe the Earth is round, that it orbits the sun, that it's not hollow, that bacteria cause disease, and all manner of other silly shit. Just because you can find someone--or a group of someones--that doesn't believe something doesn't mean that something is invalid.
"Wow, when you're taught we evolved from monkies and taught to pretty much worship the earth...the AntiChrist has a great headstart especially with the youth."
Nobody is taught that we "evolved from monkies [sic]" and what, precisely, is so bad about taking care of the only place that can support life?
"Let me give you an example. I remember when I was in high school one day. I was in the bathroom. I overheard someone talking. I remember hearing a girl state about her disbelief in God and belief in evolution."
And?
Hemingway you're not. That story sucked.

I hate to break this to you, idiot, but people who don't believe in god and do believe in evolution are actually quite commonplace...even in (gasp!!) America. Indeed, there are rather more of them than there are believers in the tribulation and all the other dogshit you lot hold so dear. Now while it is true that the truth is not a democracy, this might still tell you something about how much store is placed in the shit you believe in.
Oh, and I would rather say that you are talking complete bollocks, rather than speculating.

How you can connect the AntiChrist to environmentalism is beyond me.

@FMMS: The connection is that environmentalism is thought to give foremost concern not to God, but to the Earth (i.e. robbing God of glory). Especially since they think that the Apocalypse is saying that the Earth WILL be eradicated and replaced, so any notable wish to preserve the Earth for much longer may be seen as a defiance of God's intent from the beginning that the Earth we have wasn't supposed to be permanent.

Taking care of the Earth is just being stewards of the Earth, like God told us, stupid. What's the harm in trying to make the world a little bit better than it was when we came here, in leaving a clean, livable planet for our children?
Aah, you're barely more than a child yourself, that explains it! Hopefully you'll grow a bit more sense as you mature, dearie.
Yes, there are some people who don't believe in global climate change, just as there are some people who don't believe in the Holocaust, the Srebrenica massacre, or that the Earth orbits the sun.

"Who knows it may be a way for the AntiChrist to push his agenda on Christians in the tribulation period."
Just in case Obama doesn't do it by giving people healthcare?
"I remember hearing a girl state about her disbelief in God and belief in evolution. "
I remember reading a fundie state her belief that the rapture was about to happen. That was about 35 years ago.

There are people that don't believe the earth is round as well. Schools have this responsibility to teach the current scientific consensus of what's true.
Also, I'm pretty sure schools do present the fact that some people disagree with the consensus on global warming. At least the good ones do.

So the antichrist wants to preserve the environment? That means that the Christ wants to destroy the environment, which if you look at his followers, must be true.

I think she even mentioned how running bath water takes up alot or something.
You're conflating a whole lot of stuff here with your evident ignorance and hopeless inability to pay attention to anything, but that's not nearly as ridiculous as you seem to think.
Water isn't scarce in a lot of places, but *drinking* water might as well be gold dust for far too many people worldwide. It takes a great deal of investment and energy, and a massive, well maintained public infrastructure, to supply drinking water to those of us in the first world who are lucky enough to have it on tap 24/7.
That we then subsequently bathe in it, shower in it, wash with it, hose our driveways down and flush our toilets with it, none of which it really needs to be even close to drinkable condition for, could understandably be viewed as obscene, and is presumably only done because it would be deemed too costly to have two pipes running to every house.

I think this perfectly encapsulates a major problem with modern American political discourse.
"I thought global warming was absoute fact. Just recently, maybe a year ago or a little bit longer I found out there's people who don't believe in global warming. Talk about propaganda in the school system and society! That is just perfect for the AntiChrist and his green agenda. Get young people who don't know there's another side to the argument."
That's it right there. You think that just because there are people who don't believe in something, there must be another side to the argument. Science doesn't work that way. These people have no evidence on their side. The scientific debate over global warming ended long ago. It's happening and it's our fault. Just because there are people out there who deny this doesn't mean that their position has any merit.

Hm. "Going Green" could be about people realizing that our abuse of resources is self destructive and that we shouldn't turn a blind eye and allow greed to destroy the earth. We should, you know, cut back on all the damn trash and pollution that makes us sick, makes our world ugly, and kills us.
Or it could be the work of the anti-christ.
Both *totally* rational possibilities. I understand how it's hard to choose.
