Quote# 88947

[But what about the talking donkey!]

If Eddie murphy can make a 'dunkey' talk then I do not see it as such a big stretch for the God of creation to do the same.

Um, you do know that "Shrek" was just a cartoon and didn't have real animals, don't you?

It seems to be a big stretch for you to distinguish between fantasy and reality.

@shykid: He meant 'Shrek'.

@Gawd: No, that's how Shrek pronounced Donkey's name with a Scottish accent.

As to the quote, as others have already pointed out, 'Shrek' was a cartoon. "Donkey" wasn't real.

But, then, you religious types seem to have an awful time with fiction and reality, don't you?

Drich.
There is no record of Shiva making a "dunkey" talk.
Of course as the gOd of creation, he was too busy playing his drum.

Further proof that fundies are not able to distinguish between fiction and reality...

Or do they think that Eddie Murphy is a prophet?

Eddie Murphy didn't make a Donkey talk, he provided the voice and the CGI team made him. Are CGI artists God now?

I can show you Eddie Murphy making a donkey talk.

Show me a donkey talking specifically because your God is making it.

If you can't, I'll have no other choice but to conclude that Eddie Murphy is more powerful than your God.

You do realize Eddie Murphy making a donkey (what the hell is a 'dunkey?') talk was just a cartoon, right? The donkey wasn't real, it was just Eddie Murphy pretending.

As opposed to your story, where you believe an actual donkey somehow grew vocal chords and spoke in perfect whatever language they were using at the time.
