[Re: The Amarillo Sox's upcoming game against the St. Paul Saints on "Atheist Night," when they will be calling themselves the "Mr. Paul Aints"]
I hope the amarillo atheists i mean sox lose 30 to 0 and don't win another game this year , which they proberly won't anyway and that Amarillo pulls all there support for them. Maybe this will backfire on them like the Chick- Fil- A back fired on the gays .

Long lines of christ-stains at a Chick-Fil-A for one single day does not mean they will remain profitable. Are you fucksticks showing your support by eating their cold, dry, flavorless, shitty, second-rate "food" every day?
Wait, am I reading that wrong? It's the St. Paul Saints who are changing their name, so you hope their opponents lose 30-0?
The Chick-Fil-A thing didn't backfire on anyone except Chick-Fil-A. As far as I know, people who support gay rights are still refusing to eat there. Unless Christian bigots are planning on eating there every day to support them, the boycott hasn't backfired. Not only that, now everyone in the country knows that the company supports discrimination.
I'm not sure god really gives a shit about minor league baseball.
If I had the money I'd do a similar deal at Spurs, and rename them Tottenham Superjews. That ought to piss a lot of people off :-)
Ricky..
I don't know quite how to tell you this, but "Atheist Night" was set up by the management, and the "Ain'ts" made a clever comment about the whole thing.
Your lack of logic, grammar, and intellect is.. massive.
Maybe this will backfire on them like the Chick- Fil- A back fired on the gays
Who says it backfired? A bunch of homophobes ran out a bought a sandwich or two so they could pat themselves on the back. I they weren't regular customers before, they'll be gone again in a few weeks. The loss of customers on the other side will probably be permanent. Come back in six months or a year and tell us how it backfired.
Another fundie displaying illiteracy and stupidity in equal measure.
When is this silly game anyway? If I'm REALLY bored I might Google the result, just for a laugh.
@ Justanotheratheist
The game in question was on August 10. The Saints lost 2-0.
Oh, and the announced attendance was 6,157... well above the team's season average of just around 5,000.
@Osiris
Oh here I thought it was the hard work and dedication of the athletes that won sports games.
I'm just wondering when believers in prayer are going to start demanding that players that pray for victory get punished for cheating. Players can't use steroids to enhance their performance, why should they be able to use a god which, by all accounts, dwarfs the power of steroids?
@Mister Spak
But what if the atheists win?
Obvious, isn't it? Satan. Yes, Satan waging his war on Christ and all things that are good.
Hey Jesus, strike three, you're out!
Btw, I read that Chick-fil-A has a "cow appreciation day". I think it's very nice of them to dedicate a day to their female customers.
Visiting the Chick-fil-A website and looking at the pictures of their "food", all I can see is fat and sugar, sugar and fat. Moo.
"Chick-Fil-A backfired on the owners, stupid. We are many around the world who didn't know that the company existed a week ago; now we know that it's run by bigoted douche-bags, and we wish that we could boycott the restaurants.
I was a dandy in your ghetto with a snow white smile, and you'll never be as perfect whatever you do. What's my name, what's my name? Hold the "s" because I am an AIN'T.
Sorry, I just had to. I mean, how often do you see chances to make (s)AINT jokes?
Another thing the "appreciate Chik-Fil-A" showed was how many Christian Conservatives obviously don't work for a living, something they accuse the liberals of. You won't see me standing in line for anything for an hour or two, after work, family and important things there's precious little time left.
Confused?
