[John McCain] Once a traitor... always a traitor.
That NVA surface-to-air missile guy back in '67 should have had better aim. Would have saved America all sorts of untold grief from that RINO-POS.

"[John McCain] Once a traitor... always a traitor."
But at least he has done his duty toward the state, and not in the National Guard or other champagne unit, like Obama's predecessor, and left his arm in the Hanoi Hilton, having been tortured.
The Republican Party take RINOs (like you said) for presidential candidates because they know that they will lose with Bachmann/Perry/Santorum as candidates : the rightist speechs are only for the morons like you and they know that they need centrists for winning the election.
With Goldwater they have only won Arizona and five southern states in '64.
"I'm confused, I thought John McCain was a good guy."
Me too and, if he hasn't taken Palin as VP in order to pander to mkjessup and his pals, he could have won.
I don't know if I would call McCain a "good guy".
However he is, at times, one of the few remaining reasonable Republicans in the U.S. Congress.
What? Now people who served in the military, got captured and spent time in the Hanoi Hilton are traitors?
Do you know what this means? You're just like Jane Fonda. And I bet you don't like her, either.
That Jodi Foster guy should have had better aim back in 81. Would have saved America all sorts of untold grief from that AINO-POS.
@JeanP :
No, he wouldn't. Jessup and co were not happy about McCain being president, they would have stayed home on election day. Sarah Palin was the only way to bring em out.
@Mister Spak
"Sarah Palin was the only way to bring em out"
When the Republican Party will stop pandering Jessup and his ink, they will come closer of the White House and the country will be grateful of not having to hearing in the media (press, TV) conspiraies theories and hatred from the average wingnut (Bachmann, Perry, Santorum).
Same problem with the UMP: our former president thought it was a good idea to pander the FN electors (Le Pen made 18%) in order to win the elections..
Resultat: 2 Members of Parliament are from the FN.
That NVA surface-to-air missile guy back in '67 should have had better aim. Would have saved America all sorts of untold grief from that RINO-POS.
It would have saved 134 sailors on board the Forrestall, too.
Is he a RINO because he dares to accept the Theory of Evolution as scientifically valid? Is he a RINO because he is willing to compromise so that shit gets done, you know, like an adult? Or is he a RINO because he isn't willing to call Obama a Muslim? Please, McCain is a Republican through and through. Especially since 2008. Then again, you probably think Sean Hannity is a bleeding heart liberal for even talking to Alan Colmes rather than beating him over the head with his own leg.
I'm sick of the extremist wing of the Republican party. And now that they have started this quest for purity the Republican party is steadily getting worse and worse. Give me John McCain (without Palin this time) over Romney or any of the other Republican candidates that ran this year (aside from Jon Huntsman) any day. At least the guy was respectful and somewhat honest.
"that RINO-POS."
...yet during 2008, you were relying on that same 'RINO-POS to ensure teh ebil uppity darkie from getting to the White House.
Show a little consistency, inferior inbred subhuman neocunt Freepers.
And I'm sure Mr. McCain wouldn't mind in the slightest if you were to be waterboarded yourself, you NAZI-POS.
@dionysus
Abraham Lincoln. One of the US's finest presidents. Who freed the slaves. A Republican.
The concept of the 'RINO' is therefore destroyed.
No, Teabaggers, Neocunts, Religious Reich et al, you are the RINOS. And then Mitt 'Britain Isn't Ready' (when at the 2012 London Olympics) Romney was an unelected zombie.
Wow, John McCain, the crazy senator who wants to "Bomb bomb bomb, bomb bomb Iran" is not insane enough for these people?
Your party keeps nominating "RINO"S because nominating someone like Bachman or Santorum would get them slaughtered.
Also, McCain voted with Bush about 90% of the time but you probably consider Bush a RINO too, like every Republican pretends to now that Bush is about as popular as a baked ham at a bar mitzvah.
If anything, it's the people Freepers like who are RINOs - Republicans are supposed to stand for small government, and now the "true" Republicans have people like Santorum, who practically wants to set up his own Sex Police.
McCain is POS but for completely different reasons.
His display of Republican family values was overwhelming! When returning from Vietnam, the man decided that his disabled wife was not a good choice for his political ambitions so he cheated on her with a rich dumb blond bimbo who could finance this POS!
Talk to his Vietnam POV buddies - they are not exactly impressed by this loser!
@ Phloom : Seriously? I honestly don't know what to say to people who would have backed freakin' McCain/Palin. Or would still back them.
The best thing about that scenario happening is that McCain would at least have been around to serve his first term. If he was then reelected, though, can't be sure we wouldn't see President Palin... :shudder:
@Philbert McAdamia
First McCain was shot down after the accident aboard the Forrestal.
Second: The missile was fired from a second airplane due to a dialoged safety pin. It apparently detonated near his airplane which set off more explosives stored on the flight deck of the carrier.

I'm sure his condemnation by a veteran keyboard warrior such as yourself means a lot to him.
I don't agree with his politics in the least, but he's got more stones than all of Free Republic's inmates combined. I'll give him that.
Leonard Pitts Junior said it plainly in a recent column:
We are under attack by right wing terrorism.
It's not just the violent shit like that moron that shot up a bunch of Sikhs 'cuz they "looked like raghead forinners", it's agit-prop like this.
A 'RINO-POS' who your 'Emprah' relied upon in a Senate vote not so long ago.
...so you voted for Hillary Clinton last year, then: instead of a draft-dodger.
Confused?
