Q: Why Do Weather Forecasters Need 46,000 Rounds of High Powered Hollow Point Ammo?
A: To eliminate the most vocal of the non-believers in the GloBULL Warming Hoax.

Q: Why Did the Social Security Administration Purchase 174 Thousand Rounds Of Hollow Point Bullets?
A: To eliminate seniors demanding their SS checks after OBOZO drives the US into total bankruptcy.

Q: Why did Homeland Security purchased 450 million rounds of .40-caliber hollow point bullets that are designed to expand upon entry and cause maximum organ damage and then issue another DHS solicitation asking for a further 750 million rounds of assorted bullets, including 357 mag rounds that are able to penetrate walls?
A: There will be a lot of Americans upset if OBOZO steals the election in November and assumes full dictatorial power; they must be silenced.

They have sea police units who have to be equipped against some fishermen who oppose armed resistance and the occasionnal boat owned by drug traffikers.

To protect theirs agents during their investigations.

The hollow points are standard issue for law enforcement ulits in the U.S.A.:
less penetrability=less risks of accident.

I knew the hollow-point bullets causing more damage sounded odd i just did not know why.

"I knew the hollow-point bullets causing more damage sounded odd i just did not know why."

The hollow point bullets or dum dum bullets are less penetrative and, thus, disintegrate themselves in the body of the target, causing wounds more difficult to heal.

It's the reason why their use is forbidden during war.

What is it with making up stupid variations on the name Obama? That's my question.

8/23/2012 1:48:24 PM

Micharion

Is that what that was supposed to be? If so, wow, they are not very creative.

This seems like an awful lot of bullets to me, but then I am English.

The reason law enforcement agencies use hollow point rounds is that they use up their energy on the target, rather than going straight through and hitting God knows who or what else.

This "attack of the weatherman" dreck wouldn't even make a good B-movie.

Louis Cypher

Did he really just as why Homeland Security officers needed bullets?

8/23/2012 4:38:32 PM

Micharion

Yep, he did indeed ask that.

"What is it with making up stupid variations on the name Obama? That's my question."

They've no legitimate criticisms to level at him, and they know it. So instead, they resort to kindergarten-esque name calling*. They might find legitimate reasons to criticise the president, if they could get past the fantasy issue nonsense (birtherism, FEMA paranoia..) but that's not likely to happen now, is it?

*Which suits their intellectual level, anyway.

I've seen worse. Obongo, for one.

@Raised by Horses

I have a different theory. They do levvy criticisms against him all the time- of course, it's all absolute horseshit, but they don't care, because they think that they are entitled to their own facts. Take the Romney welfare lie, for example. Or his entire campaign, really.

So they have no dearth of things to accuse Obama of, clearly. They are literally only limited by their own imaginations in that regard.

No, I believe that the idiotic and extremely commonplace nicknames, "Obummer," "Obamination," "NObama," "Obongo," what have you, are all just symptoms of their extremely juvenile political structure. To be blunt, they're idiots with idiotic leadership and idiotic ideology, which is looking more and more like a religion. The name-calling is just the kind of thing those kinds of people do.

I bet that even on the very last day of Obama's term, these people will still be insisting that he's just about to assume full dictatorial power, and probably also take off his face to reveal that he's really a Crab-Man, or something.

Doubting Thomas

There will be a lot of Americans upset if OBOZO steals the election in November

I would assume so. Unfortunately with wingnuts like this, even if Obama wins in a landslide they'll call it "stealing the election." Look at the 2008 election. They were claiming that Obama stole the election by signing up fake voters via ACORN and having dead people in Chicago vote, even though he won the election in a vast landslide and if any voter fraud occurred it was likely to have no effect on the outcome.

Q: Why Do Weather Forecasters Need 46,000 Rounds of High Powered Hollow Point Ammo?
To be able to provide support for the massive private army of dentists, nurses, and doctors that Obama raised under Obamacare, of course.

Q: Why Did the Social Security Administration Purchase 174 Thousand Rounds Of Hollow Point Bullets?
Because nobody trusts the weathermen. Haven't you ever heard of the Weather Underground?

Q: Why did Homeland Security purchased 450 million rounds of...
Really? You're asking why the department that was created in response to 9/11 needs ammo? I would have thought their need was obvious. They're going to go take out all the people that don't believe we landed on the moon as a personal favor to Buzz Aldrin.

8/24/2012 7:58:51 AM

What the fuck is OBOZO? Some kind of terrorist clown organization?

8/24/2012 10:18:56 AM

I'd give you 750 million bullets if you promised to shoot yourself with at least one of them.

8/24/2012 7:31:08 PM

NonProphet

Next, they'll be asking why the police need bullets.

Also, I thought the Tea Party & Republicans were against all forms of "socialism" & "welfare," including Social Security. Can they really not even be consistent about that?

8/24/2012 10:18:40 PM

Ebon

You are actually enough of a paranoid to think the government would be going around shooting global warming denialists and you still have to ask why DHS needs live rounds?

8/25/2012 12:02:32 AM

Giardano Bruno

Because us foreign Muslim Catholic Marxists bought it for them so that we could kill all the real white Baptist Americans.

Oh and when we have done that we will piddle on the home plate at Camden Yards.

SaneChick

Eight years of a dufus named "Bush," and two months after Obama's '08 win, more people had made jokes about his name than the previous president's.

Kinda says something about who needs to lower themselves to vulgarity.

"Why did Homeland Security"

Because every DHS member is required to recertify their ability to use a firearm every 3 months, and that means live-fire testing with 3 practice rounds beforehand... which works out at around ~200 rounds per member every 3 months.

Doesn't sound like much? 240,000 members... ~200 rounds a time... 4 times a year assuming no-one fails it and has to retake it... 192 million rounds used for just that per year.

But it gets better... the DHS runs

United States Citizenship and Immigration Services.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection: Law enforcement agency that enforces U.S. laws along its international borders
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement: Law enforcement agency divided into two bureaus:
An agency that enforces U.S. laws while it investigates and gathers intelligence on national and international criminal activities that threaten the security of the homeland (Homeland Security Investigations); and an agency that investigates violations of the Immigration and Nationality Act and enforces the detention, deportation and removal of violators of United States immigration law (Enforcement and Removal Operations).

Transportation Security Administration: Responsible for aviation security
United States Coast Guard: Military service responsible for law enforcement, maritime security, national defense, maritime mobility, and protection of natural resources.
United States Secret Service: Yes, THAT Secret Service!
Federal Emergency Management Agency: agency that oversees the federal government's response to natural disasters like earthquakes, hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, forest fires, etc.

That lot uses a SHIT FUCKING TON of ammo every year... I wonder if they might just use all the ammo people are freaking out over on normal fucking stuff?!?
