Trouble is the idea of the antichrist being a tall dark man coming from the middle east is a modern invention. There's no mention of any "antichrist" anywhere in the bible or other ancient writings.

I'm pretty sure you made all of that up.
First, "antichrist" is not one person. The bible says there will be "many antichrists." Second, it never describes what said antichrist(s) will look like.
Doesn't the Bible say something about people who lie, & those who add things to the "Word of God"...?
