Funny how that works. For all the supremely scholarly, objective and critical thinking atheist types who come here, it never fails. They put on the garb of atheist, esquire extraordinaire, and proceed to move the Devil out of his prosecutor chair and try their own brand of accusing the brethren, or blaming God. Yet, for all the schoolin and the smarts, they cannot even see what they are doing, and get extremely defensive when its pointed out. The human heart is truly out of touch with its own actions. Sad.

blaming God
Someone doesn't understand the idea of hypothetically taking an opponent's position as granted and drawing conclusions from it. We aren't saying that God exists and that he's responsible for disease and famine continuing in impoverished nations, we're saying that IF God exists and he is all powerful and all knowing then the continued existence of disease and famine WOULD BE his responsibility. Notice the conditionals on that statement. That means it's HYPOTHETICAL.

For the zillionth time, We are not mad at your god, we do not blame your god, we do not believe your god exists, and we do not believe you are capable of thinking outside your delusional box. This is why we sometimes attempt to phrase things in such a way that you can identify, in order to attempt to make a point that we know will most likely bounce right off your cement-like head.
In order to blame God, one would have to believe God exists. Atheists don't.
