Republicans SHOULD point out the FACT that this Muslim POTUS, now has the DNC using HIS PEOPLE to pontificate on Sharia Law for America. Women have been told "their Rights" are threatened by Republicans, and here is the DNC espousing Sharia, where women are used like cattle, and have NO Freedom whatsoever....who is "Anti-Women"?

Alas, we have no Party right now that espouses The Constitution and the Freedom from Government/Political control and oversight, as ALL politicians need votes to keep employed, and they'll take your Earnings to hand out and buy votes, everytime, and to Hell with The Constitution's "Limited Powers" mandate.

It's four years on. Where's that Sharia you promised?

Women have been told "their Rights" are threatened by Republicans, and here is the DNC espousing Sharia, where women are used like cattle, and have NO Freedom whatsoever....who is "Anti-Women"?

The party that decided that a group of ancient white men, several of whom had sworn never to have sex, ever, were far better qualified to discuss women's health issues than any woman was? The party that decided to circle the wagons in defense of one of its own when that man said that women rarely, if ever, get pregnant after a rape? The party running on a platform of no abortion for any reason, ever, whose members stridently oppose health care for women or children, and who oppose civil rights laws that protect the rights of women and minorities at any and all cost? The party desperately digging the gulf between the very richest Americans and everyone else deeper and wider? The party that's abandoned sanity and apparently intends to shatter the country like a china plate at a shooting gallery to ensure that Obama is a one-term president? The party that's anti-environment, anti-science, anti-humanity? That party?

Heck, with all they've done, I wonder why women think the GOP is anti-woman? Golly gee, I guess I'll never know.

Alas, you are correct--sad as it is, the closest we have to that at present that has any chance at all is the Democratic Party.

There are so MANY valid reasons to criticize Obama:
- Renewing a law that allows the American government to spy on its citizens without a warrant. (Patriot Act)
- Invading a foreign country to liberate its oil reserves. (Libya)
- Rampant use of predator drones despite civilian casualties.
- Not closing down a facility known to violate the Geneva Conventions (Guantanamo)
- Bailing out corrupt corporations known to exploit taxpayers using taxpayer money. Then letting them off the hook to do it all over again without ANY oversight. (TARP for U.S. banks)
- Continuing Bush-style tax cuts for the rich even though it would put the country into deficit when combined with the healthcare reform.
- Gross financial mismanagement: U.S. debt has ballooned from $10 trillion to $16 trillion during his administration. (For comparison, at the start of Bush's first term the U.S. debt was around $5 trillion)
Obama has accrued more debt in 4 years than Bush in 8.

Why are these people obsessing over religion and birth certificates?

You've bought into a Fox News lie about Obama and the debt that is not true.

He has increased spending less than any other president in almost 60 years (16%). That is far, far below Bush.

The reason his figures appear so inflated is because he correctly added the cost of the two wars into the budget (for the first time) so that we all could see what they are costing us. Bush never paid for them, and got them funded through "emergency spending bills". Bush deliberately left them out of the budget so he could lie about his administration's spending.

We're also still saddled with Bush's Medicare part D that wasn't paid for, and his tax cuts for the rich.

As far as those tax cuts we'd all like to see go away, the Republicans blocked other vital legislation, literally with a gun to the country's head, in order to keep them. Obama could not make them go away by executive order. He had no choice but to agree to the extortion.

Put your blame in the right place.

The blame should be on Obama:
- Obama has continued all but a few of Bush's policies, including those which are blatant violations of the Bill of Rights and human rights. The president has the power to veto any bill, if he doesn't make a stand for what is right, who will?
- As for Republicans blocking legislation. During the first 2 years of the Obama administration, the Democrats held almost a veto-proof majority in the legislative branch (111th congress). Obama had the opportunity to deliver the "change" he promised the people, and he squandered it "compromising" with the Republican minority. (In a recent interview Obama ranted and raved about how Republicans will compromise with him if he's reelected and how he is "prepared to make a whole range of compromises" - AP August 25, 2012)

Don't defend the guy, he doesn't deserve it; Obama should be thrown to the Republicans he's trying so hard to be.
