Of the ones you listed here, religion should influence local politics, and national power should be minimized so that it hardly matters. Women should not vote. Once again, fschmidt completely misses the true meaning of 'alpha' in human society. We're not wolves. Good leaders recognize the importance of reciprocity and seek to improve the lives of all of their constituents. That means women's suffrage is essential both to good leaders and to the people - good leaders get twice as many supporters, and everybody ends up better off.
The first big test of nationwide Women's Suffrage came in the 1920 presidential election -- and, I'm sorry to say, the women blew it big time by voting for Warren G. Harding because "he looks like such a nice young man."
One would hope they'd have learned their lesson since then, but it seems today that presidential candidates are still selected for their looks.
Who wastes their time gathering all the obscure, off the wall things said on FB or otherwise and collects them on a website? There's too much reverse sarcasm, pride, hate, intolerance, etc in the comments not to mention the collection. Time to put one's big boy pants and spend one's time doing something of value. Being as the quotes collection is a collective effort, it's not just one person wasting their life posting quotes. peolle just submit what they come across eg. Consider this: Harding's campaign spent four times as much as Cox's campaign. That had quite a bit to do with his landslide victory.
And Harding was 56 when he became president. Very few people would think of him as a 'young man'. You could make that appeal for Obama's first campaign (he was 48) and JFK (who was 44) and maybe have some validity, but applying it to Harding is absurd.
And, finally, to show the critical flaw in what you have said: about 8 million women voted in the 1920 election. Harding won the popular vote by about 7 million votes. While Harding did poll better among women than among men, he still would have won the election quite neatly if women had not voted (all other things being equal).

Harding's appeal wasn't in his looks. Harding was a former newspaper man, and as such he knew how to treat the press. As a result, they tended to make him look good.
More to the point though, Harding's platform was "A return to normalcy." In other words, he promised to fulfill the conservative dream of the day, turning America's back on the rest of the world and focusing solely on number 1. It was this promise that propelled the most incompetent chief executive in American history to victory.
To be fair though, Harding had no illusions about his competency. That puts him a significant step above baby Bush in my book.

It's possible that he is. However, based on the quotes here he seems to approve of Ultra-Orthodox Judaism and to at least be of Jewish descent. But the insanity that is patriarchal misogyny is apparently more important to him than theology of any sort.
