Oh no, the curriculum is not pc enough , heaven forbid gay couples and gay sex are not explored or how about pedophilia? Let's make sure the schools teach our children political and moral lessons we don't agree with, I thought schools were supposed to be secular and leave the morals out of it. At least that's what they said when judeo-christian values were taught, maybe it is all right to indoctrinate our kids if it is beholden to the far left cultural relativists.

Then they should make the information correct and up to date so it can be completely un PC.
Knowledge empowers. By all means let people be informed about all sexual matters. Such knowledge gives people the proper basis to make decisions about their own lives, and enables them to come to some kind of understanding about the way others live their lives.
To deny information means that there is an agenda at work that is seeking to control. Most likely it's one religion or another.
Why is it that religions always want others to do as they (the religions) insist? What is to be gained by it? Power, influence and money. that's what most religions reduce to.

perhaps the NYC classes discuss sheepgut condoms and they want to mention latex or whatever they make them from now. Birth control pills have changed amd you CAN get pregnant the first time you have sex.
I doubt they will add the benefits of sheep vs poodles , bomdage . sado masochism or water sports.

You're the ones making sex a political and moral issue; the rest of us just want teenagers to be able to make healthy, informed decisions about their own bodies.

Starting when they were very young, they've been fed a pack of lies that says that those who disagree, stray from the path, or believe something else will suffer forever. When confronted with reality, most of them aren't bright enough or are too scared to question what they've been taught, so it's easier for their psyches to deny reality and try to make everyone else conform to their worldview.

If you're going to educate children, at least teach them things reasonably accurate and up-to-date.
What is wrong with these people. How does 'out of date' translate to 'needs to be further left'? As far as I understand it, most teenagers are full of hormones and if they want sex they're going to have it. You aren't going to stop them, so why not ruin all the mystery and excitement behind it and minimise STDs and unwanted pregnancies whilst you're at it?
Last time I had sex ed. I don't recall we ever discussed about sexual orientation, as it is irrelevant. All I was told is have safe sex, use protection, be careful, etc. It's a safety class rather than a "THIS IS HOW YOU FUCK" class.

Says it all really. Probably doesn't believe that there can be moral values outside of Christianity. Forgetting, of course, that there were already ethical codes in existence before the Old Testament was even put to papyrus.
