@SpukiKitty: Honestly, even without context, I can easily tell this is a ridiculous, piss-poor attempt at an analogy to homosexuality. I've just personally seen and had to put up with these knuckle-draggers to the point that their bullshit sticks out like a sore thumb to me and is about as predictable as rolling snake eyes on a pair of dice with all ones.
But, fuck, I'm bored, so I'll bite and take a stab at this guy's jackassery. Here goes nothing.

@ OP: Okay, first of all, vision loss can be a serious, life-impairing disability. People with impaired eyesight aren't allowed to drive or operate heavy machinery without adequate vision correction, because being allowed to do so would present a clear and immediate danger to others and their property. Conversely, homosexuality is not a life-impairing disabilityhaving to deal with the shit people like you spew about it notwithstanding, but that problem lies with you, not with homosexuality. That means driving and operating heavy machinery while queer does not pose any danger. Good grief, actually having to explain that homosexuality is not a disability is painful. There's a reason why "driving while not seeing straight" is not the same as "driving while not being straight." What is this? The 1970s? Is same-sex attraction still classified as a mental disorder in your delusional version of reality?
Then again, on the other hand, impaired vision, like homosexuality, is not a character flaw or something to be ashamed of. Fortunately, the overwhelming majority of people realize and accept that. I am able to wear my glasses out in public without being a potential hate-crime victim for it, and I am not accused of "flaunting" my "myopic debauchery" or "shoving" my "perverted, degenerated vision in everyone's face" for wearing glasses. Similarly, I am not denied basic rights that people with better eyesight have, so your "I-can't-see-for-shit pride" is not necessary. If that weren't the case, however, most of the things you describe would be more or less justified, save for driving while blind like an idiot, but such caveats inevitably come with such flawed analogies.
Want "LGBT pride" to go away? Stop being a dick and embrace equality. It exists specifically because of bigots like you. Stop shaming LGBT people, obstructing justice, and turning your metaphorical blind eye when our faces get pounded in for who we are, and we'll stop shoving in your face that we're not ashamed of being queer, that we're normal, and that we demand to be treated with the same rights, respect, and dignity as cisgendered and heterosexual individuals. It really is as simple as that. Hell, I actually long for the day that "queer pride" is a cause without a purpose; it would mean we've made much more progress than I expected to see in my lifetime.
