Evolution is not a religion, nor is atheism. For it to be a religion, it has to worship something and you cannot claim that either atheism or evolution worships anything without twisting the word to the point it loses all meaning.

Evolution is science and will continue to be an observable fact, no mater how much you may disparage the idea. Christianity, on the other hand, is a religion based on superstition and unsubstantiated gobbledegook.

China's state education system teaches Evolution. China's university research facilities are amongst other countries (Cuba, Japan, UK et al) at the forefront of Gene research. Evolution is all about subtle changes in DNA, and how such changes affect - and potentially improve a lifeform, relative to it's conditions/environment (among other factors).

Japan & the UK? We're not as obsessed about religion as you fundie nutty buggers are over there. Several years ago, a lab in the UK pioneered the generation of tissue via cloning of Stem Cells taken from a person's bone marrow, thus a Spanish woman was able to have a replacement windpipe transplanted, without any risk of rejection (as it's from her own body, natch). Cuba, who spend as much on healthcare as they do on defence? Atheist. The chances of finding a Cuban with bad teeth are as likely as, say... finding hen's teeth.

In Soviet China, God worships you.

Moral: You want to be inferior to China, you go right ahead, fundies in the US. Just as long as your fundie 'states' secede from the rest of the Union, who want to remain on Planet Reality, and keep the rest of the normal, sane non-fundie USA & it's people technologically ahead in terms of R&D.

Atheism is lack of belief in deities.

Religion is belief in deities, the exact opposite of atheism.
