I have just been reading all the posts on this board and I am feeling a bit confused People keep getting miffed at GWB taking away our freedom and liberty. Since I have nothing to hide, I do not care if they listen to and record every communication I make. God is recording every conversation and every thought and we do not let that bother us. We do what we want anyway, regardless of the consequences.

The mindset that allows the Republicans to do anything they want under the umbrella of them being men of God. Notice when a democrat wants to do anything, no matter how sensible, they're up to something, but a direct infringement of their rights from a Godly Republican is only fair?
After all, Republicans won't use these powers for anything but getting the evildoers however the Democrats will probably use it to lock up the believers in FEMA trailors and force their children into Atheist indoctrination centres.
They DO believe this, without any evidence, historical facts or all their failed predictions of lost liberty under Democrats, they still believe this.
About 30% of the Republican base will accept all Draconian policies, no matter how severe if they're REPUBLICAN policies. Their churchs encourage this subjectism and worship of the Godly Republican canidates, whom, like God and the church, are to be never questioned, only obeyed.
