[an Israeli man who is accused of bringing Thai farmers into the U.S. to work, then taking their passports and posting armed guards to prevent them from leaving]

So now there is a problem, let's take this guy, this little Jew Israeli wherever he come from, let's blame him for everything that we hate, and make it the biggest human traffic in America. But you can say human trafficking about anything, in fact, if that's the philosophy of human trafficking, so everything's human trafficking. Going on an airplane from Hawaii to [unintelligible] is human trafficking, so all the airlines are human trafficking business, because who traffic my workers from island to island? Hawaiian Airlines.

I think what I did was a great thing, I changed people's life. I think the pain of what my family went through and my kids, it was a little, if I can call it the little Holocaust.

Well, fuck it. A swift Google (he's called Mordechai Orian, btw) reveals the arsehole got away with it, too. TANJ.

Oh My Dog!

http://rt.com/usa/news/us-drops-biggest-human-trafficking-case-771/

From the article:

Just 11 months ago, federal prosecutors dropped similar accusations against owners of Hawaii’s Aloun Farms, whose tactics were used to keep foreign workers in their service. The case was dropped after the lead prosecutor misstated the law in front of a grand jury. The same team of federal prosecutors handled the Global Horizons case.

Talk about utter FAIL!

This is just evil.

Doubting Thomas

There's a HUGE difference between bringing people in to work and then not allowing them to leave, effectively keeping them as slaves, and people willingly traveling from airport to airport and then being allowed to leave said airport after arriving.

Nice how he played the holocaust card.

Even if the guy who brought in these Thai farmers and enslaved them was a victim of the Nazi Holocaust, that wouldn't give him the right to victimize others.

I'm not sure this really belongs in CSTDT.

And, to echo everyone else, the Holocaust is not a moral Get Out Of Jail Free card. Being wronged by one group is not an excuse to wrong another group who had nothing to do with it.

Hell, even if he were following "an eye for an eye", it would make more sense to do this to Germans instead of Thai peasants. Wouldn't make it any more right but it would sure as hell follow his twisted logic a little bit better.

Chinese women were brought over to the islands to work under awful conditions - subject to forced abortions and prostitution and paid pennies for producing garments labeled "Made in the USA."

Corrupt local officials hired the firm of infamous lobbyist Jack Abramoff - for more than $4 million - to try to stop the reforms proposed back in Washington. Abramoff, in turn, hired Ralph Reed and his political direct mail company, Millennium Marketing, to conduct a phony grassroots campaign urging Alabama Christians to write their local congressman to oppose the reforms.

Of course, Reed didn't tell those Christians he was being paid to help keep running sweatshops that exploited women. Instead, he told them the reforms were a trick orchestrated by the Left and organized labor.

"I think what I did was a great thing, I changed people's life."

...by enslaving them.

"I think the pain of what my family went through and my kids, it was a little, if I can call it the little Holocaust."

Your family's pain has been caused by your callous and odious conduct.
The fact you have evocated Holocaust is frankly insulting toward those who, with their entire families, were exterminated by forced work, deadly gas or other means of mass assassination by Hitler and his SS.
