Maybe the Obama that sat on the chair beside Clint Eastwood might, but certainly not the president that actually exists.

Erm. Sharia Law and Muslim Brotherhood HATE homosexuals. Under Sharia they'd be killed. Also you're not persecuted. If I was republican, I'd distance myself from this PAC.

"Government is Not God"... well, of course it's not. The Government actually exists, we can see it!

For your information, human rights come from government. As far as your sadistic bully of a god is concerned we're simply fodder for his fun.
Fuck him.
Oh, and your rant is the typical ignorant Tea Tard bullshit.

They say that any publicity is good publicity, but I don't know.
That'll be pretty persuasive among the undecided fraction of the voting members of the moron segment of the population.

Not being a US citizen, I'm not up on the constitution, but does the president actually have the power to do all that?

If the gay marriage issue reaches the Supreme Court, it could become federal law.
As for the rest of it, GiNT-PAC, please bury yourselves in bullshit head-first. You'll feel right at home. Thank you.

For some reason, every time I hear stuff like this, a childhood memory of first grade during the Nixon-McGovern elections. The Nixon supporters' kids kept telling us that McGovern was going to make us go to school every day, and other ridiculous threats.
Some things never change.
And yes, I'm that old.

He could tell military chaplains they have to perform same sex marriages because the President is Commander-in-Chief of the military, but that's about it.
The President can use his influence to ask Congress members to introduce or support certain legislation, but he has no direct control over the bills that make it to his desk or how the courts decide if the laws are challenged. Checks and balances and all that.

I've always found it strange that the Christian right thinks they should be exempted from paying for anything they don't like yet they think it's great that I'm forced to pay for thousands of our people to go halfway around the world to blow up Iraqis and Afghans.

-Abortions are medical procedures, like removing a cancer tumor from a prostate, and ought to be financed in the same way.
-Refusing to hire someone because s/he is not Christian is a textbook case of discrimination.
-All states were forced to permit inter-racial marriages, they will survive same-sex marriages too.
-Are military chaplains forced to perform inter-racial marriages? Yes? Well then...
-Adoption is not included in the work of doctors.
-Refusing to give a job to an immigrant is again discrimination. But the position must be vacant before you can give it to anyone.
-Have they changed the rule that says "if you're born on American soil, you are an American citizen"?
-If anyone is about to instate religious laws, it's the Republicans, not the Democrats. The Religious Right would simply LOVE Sharia Laws, if they were called God Laws.
-The police management should select police staff, regardless of gender and religion.
-Everyone has a right to a roof over one's head.
-The Democrats seems to be more engaged in helping the "underclass" to move up to middle class, than the Republicans are. However, there is not that big a difference, sadly...
Human rights most certainly does not come from God. There is nothing about human rights in the Bible, it barely allows women to be humans; mostly we are seen as property and incubators. They don't come from governments either. Human rights come from humans fighting for the rights. Every single right has been fought for and needs to be kept fought for. Governments don't give anything freely, and some will remove as many rights as they can when no-one seems to be looking. I'm speaking globally here, not the US government specifically.
