A number of psychological studies indicate that the fundamentalist brain cannot differentiate between reality and opinion. To a fundy opinion = fact; what one believes = knowledge.

Here is a perfect example of that. They can, with perfect honestly, declare things for which they have no justification and the really scary part is the more you demonstrate these things are false, the more convinced they become.

It's weird. Consider the birthers. The more evidence provided that they were wrong, the more they declared they were right.

I have a number of problems with this. As I understand it, people of the United States have a number of treaties describing the goal and officially expressing their unity as a country. In those treaties does it say to keep church and the state separate. Therefore legally it can't and won't force anyone to accept anything. Also Islamic Sharia Law is not American law and therefore will not be accepted.

Also I do like how you put marriages in quotation marks. Because that at least from your point of view implies that these marriages are in fact non traditional and do not conform to social normality. In one way you're right. Those marriages aren't traditional. Then again neither are yours. In fact any marriage in a church is non traditional. Any marriage with a big ceremony isn't traditional. Marriages in the beginning were basically just someone saying "I love you. I want to marry you." and the other person saying "Ok, I love you too. I marry you!" and then they'd kiss and make out and be all happy. Then after all that they'd go and tell the church because the church kept the records. Then again if the governments at that time weren't controlled heavily by the church then the governments would have kept the records and therefore the happy couple would tell the government.

Also, you say that the government would give illegal immigrants the jobs of american citizens. Tell me, if those immigrants shared your views, and shared your religion and in fact got along with you very well, would you feel the same way. Because you see, those people are people too, and people in this day and age, need jobs, so that they can keep living. If you befriended said illegal immigrants and then slowly watched them die I think that even someone of your intellect would recognize the need for sympathy, and mourning. I could go on and on, but I have to prepare to vote Obama.
