(Orlando Cruz becomes first openly gay man in boxing)

This could actually intimidate his opponents. They are going to be careful of any contact with open cuts on his face or elsewhere. That blood could very well be the carrier of a fatal disease. You can’t avoid getting some of his blood on your own boxing glove and you can’t avoid using your own boxing glove to protect your own face.

Because being gay causes the HIV virus to magically synthesize itself in the bloodstream.

As a proud and rowdy gay Rugby player, I laugh at this pathetic internet "Vigilanteman" and the fat crease he leaves in every chair he sits in.

Hey moron, blood from heterosexuals could carry the same 'fatal disease'. And his being a professional boxer, he would be have to pass physical exam, including screening for HIV.

I've a feeling Vigilanteman wouldn't last ten seconds in the ring against Olando.

I actually wonder if someone with HIV could succeed in boxing. HIV drugs are pretty amazing and can return a near emancipated person back to relative normality. However I wonder if someone under the treatment would be capable of remaining physically fit enough to actually take part in competitive boxing. I know treatment can prolong ones life and dramatically raise ones standard of living, but how effective this is, is unknown to me. I would be interested to find out.

As for the comment, its just utter horse manure.

"Written by someone probably too afraid to leave his parents' basement."

Methinks not just because he's too scared of going out into that nasty big wide world beyond that basement door, for fear of contracting...:

A thought: If I watched sex on a 42" plasma TV, would I contract HDMI?

1. Straight people can have fatal diseases; for example, HIV.
2. Not all diseases can be transferred that way; for example, HIV requires a sizable amount of blood to be transferred from one person to another. Not even a mosquito can transfer HIV.

I'm pretty sure somebody with HIV would not be boxing.
