But we all know the fundamentalist Christian will look no further than than God and say it was the reason for the unusually high temps. Like: "Well this years record setting temps were due liberals legalizing gay marriage. Climate change had nothing to do with it!"
Fundamentalists are so nuts they will try to bullshit away tragedies as a sign of the Tribulation and God, when it would really be almost impossible to do such. In which case all their own followers go after them for such stupid and irrational explanations in light of the evidence showing how and why it has been happening.

Liberals are mostly Center-Right, stupid, not left.
You think they are nuts because they want logical explanations?

"Liberals are so nuts [...]. In which case their own followers may go after them [...]"
Q) What do you call someone that is a 'follower of liberals'?
A) A liberal.

Sure. High temperatures have nothing to do with us dumping heat-trapping gases in the atmosphere. Plagues have nothing to do with germs, poor sanitation and lack of modern medicine. Volcanoes are magic. It all has to do with the crazy genocidal villain in your favourite fairy tale.

Yeah, and Astronomers look to gravity, not God. And Actuaries look to statistics and not God. Chemists look to valencies and not God.
And all these people working on the non-God theory have better forecasting, descriptive, and technological abilities than the pro-God theorists.
This is because the 'God' theory is exactly as useless as the 'Thor' theory of thunder.

Actually, volcanoes spewing ash into the air will cool the planet a bit, since all that ash blocks and reflects sunlight.
But I do laugh at the idea that warmer temperatures aren't because of natural or manmade phenomena, but rather God is fiddling with the celestial thermostat.

"Well this years record setting temps were due to all the volcanoes spuing debri into the air. "
Well didn't you know that volcano stuff up in the air causes lower temps?
Your lies don't convince me that global warming isn't real, they just convince me that you're a liar.

So the reason for higher temps isn't volcanos, it's because God is pissed?

The liberal left has a name.... "CENTERIST"
This year's high temperatures were due to deforestation, urbanization, and too much smoke from factorys, forest fires, vehicle exhaust, and wars.
Liberals seem to agree with the facts, as do many conservatives, and anyone else outside your crazy cult.

Maybe plagues and volcano eruptions WERE caused by God. But that should never be the first assumption. Last time it was the Plague was treated by priests whipping themselves and praying over people. We now know that the Plague can be treated with antibiotics and had we had them at the time we would have saved millions of people. But forget about hypothetical situations 9in which we have antibiotics during the bubonic plague) a very real menace, small pox, was eliminated by science. The religious morons did nothing and some were even against the eradication of small pox because in their opinion small pox was "a creation of God".

It really is amazing how much non-believers will try to justify their own sins isn't it? Now they've resorted as low as to refer to actual science and intelligence for their knowledge of the world around them, instead of referring solely to ancient texts like the most fundamentally disturbed among us. Oh the humanity!

Stupid Libruls, with their facts, and their science, and their statistics. Always running around, paying attention to reality, instead of properly accepting the world as it was described 2000 years ago by booger-flicking goatherds! How dare they insist on logical and scientific explanations, rather than accepting that Jebus cast Control Weather in order to punish the gays?

Precisely, things happen because God erm, .. well anyway God er, .. and then He er,... and if you pay attention you will find that God er,..., um, and it's obvious if you keep an open mind that God does um,... to cause the climate to be changed. Proof positive.

Perhaps there comes a point when you are so irredeemably moronic that you might as well hold on to your utterly strange beliefs for all the difference it'll make. In for a penny, in for a pound.
If you're a whacko loony, you may as well go the whole hog. Welcome to the strange world of floating sky beasts.

Once again: if God existed and wanted to make his will and existence indisputably known to atheists and agnostics, he should appear himself in a situation where there was no question that he exists. If God is omniscient, he would know that atheists won't believe certain actions, that appear to be explainable through other means, were actually caused by him without further evidence. Creating extremely vague and tenuously-connected "consequences," expecting everyone to see them for his will, and punishing those who don't make the connection is just stupid and/or cruel. It's almost like he doesn't exist and is ascribed all sorts of vengeful power to keep people in line.
Liberals are so nuts they will try to logically explain away the plagues of the Tribulation on something other than God, when it would really be almost impossible to do such.
Yeah, but that's science for you: taking the almost impossible and, through years of research and repeatable experiments, making it a reality. And, funnily enough, refuting the idea of an involved creator many times over, while never uncovering solid proof of said involved creator. (The cause of the universe's creation is obviously still a giant mystery, and while I really don't think it was due to a rational being, I don't think we can 100% rule it out. But I am extremely skeptical about a deity or deities actively involved with the Earth's day-to-day operations.)

Actually, this year's record setting temps and other severe weather are due to the greenhouse effect; exacerbated by our continually increasing volume of C02 from burning fossil fuels. God has nothing to do with it. Also; plagues have existed since long before your god was invented. And I won't even use the words that come to mind when someone who is waiting and praying for the Rapture calls me stupid. It's like the insults of a toddler.
