Ok, maybe this because English isn't my first language ("thank you, Captain Obvious!") but I thought only things can be fixed while a cat a is living, breathing organism, therefor can either be healed or treated, but not fixed like a car, a pen or a computer. So, did I learn something wrong or does Act own android cats?

It's more complicated to spay a female cat than neuter a male cat, which is probably why it cost so much more. Plus, he never said if he took the cats to the same place, which could also account for the change in cost.

Neutering a male cat and spaying a female cat is not the exact same procedure. They are completely different procedures and in fact the female procedure is far more complicated because you have to preform invasive surgery. Neutering just involves cutting off the circulation to the testicles until they fall off.
