So, reading about imaginary characters are bad, unless it is about your pedophile prophet (Peanut Butter and Jelly be upon him) is evil? Fuck you!

It's a shame all those comic book superheroes didn't massacre their political enemies, rape children, and enforce their beliefs on the people they conquered like the early figures of Islam, huh?

This is a case of failing before you start.

FUN HOURS ARE DESIGNATED BETWEEN 14:00 AND 15:00. NO CARTOONS. NO MUSIC. NO DANCING. NO SINGING. NO PLAYING CARDS. NO ALCOHOL. NO LOOKING AT OR THINKING ABOUT THE OTHER SEX. NO THINKING ABOUT SEX, PERIOD. PRAYER MATS TO BE BROUGHT OUT IMMEDIATELY AFTERWARDS. GOD BE PRAISED.

Once they're exposed to the concept of fiction, kids recognise it no matter how you try to market it.

Batman and Superman did their best in comics, movies and video games to not kill even their most hated nemesis. Your god calls for death of unbelievers. That you want children to follow your deity and not heroes who had a sense of compassion speaks about you.

"With regard to children’s programs and some adults’ programs, they propagate the spirit of western culture and promote western traditions, and they attract people to western-style parties and clubs.
One of the effects of this culture is the adoption of imaginary examples instead of following the example of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), his companions, the scholars and the mujaahideen. So children start to imitate Superman, Batman and Spiderman and other imaginary characters who do not exist, and they lose out in following the real example, as they get confused by so many imaginary examples who have no faith."
Allah. Lauren Faust (Ponies and Blessings Upon Her):
I've shown you mine, you show me yours.
Moral: Lauren Faust (pbuh) created "My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic". Her Alicorn is effectively God in pony form. Creator. God. Y'know, Al ZuFAILi, it does one's deity no harm whatsoever to be
seen, thus one doesn't require such a pointless concept as 'faith' in the first place.
And at least we can see Superman, Batman, Spiderman et al.
Fictional cartoon/comic characters. Deities. What's the difference?
But at least we Sci-Fi fans/Bronies possess something called 'Suspension of Disbelief. And that's the difference.
--EDIT--
@Spukikitty
If you were a pony, you'd be a Unicorn, like Twilight Sparkle in the above pic (Twi is best pony; she's an intellectual, and I like intellectuals). A magic-user (via the horn), and your Cutie Mark would be an Ankh. :3

Western media portrays Western culture and Western values? The Hell you say! It's almost like they made it for themselves!
And frankly, I'd rather have kids portraying Batman or Spider-Man than a lot of the characters in the Koran, Torah or Bible.
Hell, I'd rather have kids portraying Doc Ock or the Joker. At least they're equal-opportunity murderers who only kill in small batches at a time.

I've never heard of Early Muslims raping children, though I do hear hear about modern fundie ones and the 12 year old marriage age. The "massacre Political Enemies" is bunk, though they weren't above assassination in raising position, and enforcing beliefs onto others were also denied... by the Koran and Hadiths (Sic). You can tax them a little more, but they have to convert without threat of force. Conversion by threat of force is no conversion at all.
WE would assume the Ponies are Polytheists then, because there's Nightmoon? (Memory Fail)), Discord, and Cellestia.
Now that I'm done defending Islam, let's tackle this fundie.
I'm sorry Islam has no good superheroes from a sphere that has no interest in it. But that's no reason to deride them. Try to make as fun, equvilant heroes who prefer bloodless victory (Like your Own Prophet took Mecca). Don't be a dumb fundie who is the "Stop having fun" guy.
BTW, Guile Heroes are the best. There's a reason the world loves Doctor Who, and he doesn't carry a GUN.

I'd much, much, much rather my child grew up with Spiderman as a role model than Allah.
Spidey's flawed like all of us, but he does his best to be a hero and he's sharp while he's doing it.
Allah is all the worst things about a screaming toddler, and he's supposed to be perfect. Bollocks.

I find spidie to be a teenager experciening wangst. He annoys me.
He also mentions following the prophet and scholars, not allah. Inkstains are best to have on a man's clothes. Not sure how that hadith partically goes, but basically... Scholars are greater than warriors.

Islam does have one cultural equivalent for superheroes.
Nasrudin.
Unfortunately most of the Nasrudin stories were burnt by the various western colonial masters who enslaved the islamic world for the first half of the 20th century... and the rest were burnt by Wahabi fundies like Dr Wahbah al-Zuhayli in the last two decades or so.
