Quote# 90148

As I often say :

Feminism, far from helping women, has actually exposed the full extent of female inferiority (mental, moral, intellectual, economic) far more visibly than was ever possible before feminism.

In the old days, women knew how to discreetly avoid tasks they would be ill-suited for. Now, they are encouraged to go in, demonstrate incompetence, and then loudly proclaim success and oppression at the same time.

If people's expectations of you are that you're incompetent there's a an excellent chance that you will begin acting out their expectations, even if opposed to them. And you might not notice this. Inferiority is a dream somebody dreamed about you.

Another vote for Sexists Say the Darnedest Things, anyone?

rubber chicken

Whereas TFH can demonstrate incompetence with no encouragment at all.

Religion, especially the desert religions, are deeply misogynistic. But not all misogyny is religious.

Unless they specificially mention the Bible, Koran, Torah or God, misogynistic comments aren't fundie. There is currently not a Sexists Say the Darnedest Things and until there is, can we cut down on the misogynist quotes.

11/4/2012 8:44:21 PM

Zim!

I've been enjoying the misogynistic quotes, especially when the come here and try and defend themselves.

Strange, I work with women in professional capacities every day of the week and I've yet to notice any difference between men and women in the workforce.

Granted, I don't work in ditch digging, full contact sports, piano moving, or the like, but then again women rarely deny the physical differences between the sexes and their consequences.

The OP is full of it.

Guys, we shouldn't make fun of sexists. It's not fundie until it's labeled correctly.

First, another vote for Sexists Say the Darnedest Things.

Second, TFH, you just don't like that there are women who can do all the jobs you're not suited for, eh?

When you've finished saying it, do you remember to wipe the drool from your face?

Personally I'm happy with the way things are, religious fundamentalism sprinkled with sexist quotes.
Bizarre, bigoted and dogmatic stupidity is always welcome fodder for the FSTDT wits, and it belongs on this site, but a separate 'sexists say the darnedest things' section would be like making a cake of only nutmeg. It's a welcome addition when used sparingly, but overwhelming when there's nothing else.

@John In Oz
However, the same arguement could be made for merging RSTDT back in here.

Personally I prefer specificity.

A fundie doesn't have to be religious. I think these freaks are extreme enough to easily qualify as fundie.

What really worries me is that the proprietor of this shitty ass blog claims to be a married father. I don't know what's worse: this douchebag with a son or this douchebag with a daughter.

@#1465570

I nominate the fact that someone, somewhere, actually chose to marry a person who thinks they are an inferior being. It's like a black person choosing to marry a white supremacist.

Well, somebody feels insecure about their masculinity.

One more vote for "Sexists Say...". Each kind of vileness deserves the proper dustbin.

Doesn't the existence of the word "moral" in the parenthetical statement of the first line strongly imply that this person might be taking the writings of Paul a tad too seriously?

Other than saying that this is someone who deserves to be thrown to the Femitheists, I second(or third, or fourth, or whatever) the motion that we have a Sexists Say the Darnedest Things.

Fundamentalism is not only religious. Merriam-Webster's second definition is: a movement or attitude stressing strict and literal adherence to a set of basic principles--Islamic fundamentalism, political fundamentalism

Another vote for SSTDT. Until then, keep the fundie sexist comments comming; they are truly entertaining and at times commical.

@ Indikins

I don't this there was a choice.

I used to work with many female police officers that I'd put up against any of the male officers any day. Your argument is invalid. Fuck you.

11/5/2012 6:56:46 AM

OhJohnNo

I don't know if there's any point in continuing to vote for an SSTDT, it's obvious our cries are not being listened to.

From what I read on the forum, the administrators are actually hoping to not create new areas. Since CS and R receive so much less attention than F.

Some people have suggested merging them all back together, instead labeling them individually when someone submits them, they add a label.
