Well, if Hillary ever does run for president, and it looks like she might get elected ... God knows I'm going to stock up on assault rifles, pistols, and ammunition, 'cuz it'll be at least four years before it becomes available agian.
I just had to read about 20 pages of excerpts from Mein Kampf for my WWII history class. There is NO way in hell you could possibly justify comparing Hillary Clinton (whatever it is the Religious Right has against her) to Hitler.
What is up with the fixation on Hilary? She has zero chance of attaining the presidence because ther refusal to criticize the war has cost her support among Democrats. She may well run in the primaries, but the only people who would vote for her oare Oprah's housewife army, who seem unaccountably enchanted by Hillary.

I've been seeing Aric2000's posts for many years. He is as sharp as a tack and he's no fundie. That's my problem with this site--many funny gems, but it seems to equate political conservativism to religion. (I am also a political conservative and not at all a YEC or fundie. Might want to check out forum.DarwinCentral.org, which is a forum of conservatives fighting against fundie creep.)

You're still commiting a horrible logical fallacy: You're assuming that because Bill Clinton's Attorney General went nuts, Hilary Clinton will too, when there is no evidence to substantiate this. Then you invoke Godwin's Law, which is a big no-no.

Can you please enlighten me as to the reasons that you NEED a fucking pistol or assault rifle ? I assume you are a civilian? The U.S. isn't yet making its armed services personnel buy their own guns , are they?

In Canada, we have hunting rifles and shotguns out the wazoo, yet so much less gun violence than the U.S. Do you think that maybe, just maybe outrageous weapons (whose ONLY purpose is to kill people ) might just have a li'l something to do with it?

This is a comment, many years down the line, in a year in which we found out that Hillary didn't win the presidency (although she won the popular vote) only because the republican candidate had a shadow partner in the kremlin. Politics has always been subject to strange manipulations, but this one's a doozy.
