Quote# 90251

If the 14th Amendment's equal protection clause applies to an individual's 'right' to marry irregardless of sex, then the IRS tax code should apply to the individual's tax rate irregardless of income.

Also, the Lilly Ledbetter act and the Civil Rights Act are also unconstitutional.

Oh, no reason given? They just are? I guess we'll.have to repeal those, now; they're unconstitutional.

Good thinking. Let's tax churches.

Yeah yeah, everything that grants legal rights to people you want to persecute is unconstitutional. Cry more.

If the Lilly Ledbetter act is unconstitutional, the problem is the Constitution, not the Lilly Ledbetter act.

'Cause, your income is your decision? (I know somebody's sexual orientation isn't their decision, but this "person" probably does)

If you really think the Lilly Ledbetter Act and the Civil Rights Act (of 1866?) are unconstitutional, how about you try to get them repealed, and then all those who disagree with you will actually discriminate against you. This is the most stupid non-sequitur I've ever read.

Also, the Lilly Ledbetter act and the Civil Rights Act are also unconstitutional.

If you really think so, then why don't you take it before the Supreme Court?

Really, though, it's no surprise that a homophobe would be against equal rights for all races and equal pay for women. I've just seen too many quotes from them and talked to too many in person to think otherwise.

Also, please explain to me HOW said acts are unconstitutional. Please, with graphs and pie charts.

The IRS tax code is based on the 16th Amendment. Before lecturing people on the constitutionality of Lilly Ledbetter and the Civil Rights Act, you should try actually reading the document.

That's the dumbest reason against progressive income tax I've ever read. Honestly that's a better reason to tax churches (which Italy is doing this year, yay!).

Oh, I see the problem here. You don't understand what "equal" means, you don't understand what "unconstitutional" means, and you don't realize that the use of "irregardless" highlights the fact that you're an idiot.
