Brain dead, pull the plug. And don't donate the organs, this level of stupidity is probably contagious.

In some African traditions, the sun was viewed as the eye of the Deity. This is where the Masonic All-Seeing Eye (actually much older than the Masons, and originally used by African peoples in Egypt and Ethiopia) comes from. Originally it represented the sun, which was seen as a metaphor for God's power as the light of the world.

What does the Sun have to do with Biology?
You ought to talk to an astronomer or a cosmologist.

I am curious why you think the sun is alive.
Also I am curious how creationism explains the creation of the creator.

The mind boggles at how creationists don't even seem to have figured out what evolution is yet.

"I am curious how evolutionism explains the Sun."
(points aloft) "There it is!"
@ Swede:
Quite a lot, actually. Before the Ozone Layer was fully formed, life existed under water. The Sun's radiation fuels plant life, and also mutation.

"I am curious how evolutionism explains the Sun."
It doesn't. You have failed to understand evolution.
BTW- "evolutionism" is not a word.
"There is not enough energy possible to sustain the Sun for one day let alone billions of years."
And yet, it manages to keep shining day after day. Perhaps you should learn your science from actual scientists, not bronze age goatherders.

I am curious how evolutionism explains the Sun.
The Theory of Evolution doesn't explain the Sun. Physics does, specifically nuclear fusion.
There is not enough energy possible to sustain the Sun for one day let alone billions of years.
Have you seen the amount of energy in a pulsar or a supernova? There is a TON of energy in the universe.

Please tell me you don't think the energy to sustain the sun comes from Earth. You couldn't be that stupid and not have to be watered twice a week.

You are quite correct. What evolutionism doesn't know is that for some time now, astronomerologists sneak up and refuel the sun. They do this every night so nobody will see them and they won't catch fire.
We're going to have to up our game if the fundies see through our plans this easily.

Stellar evolution does not equal biological evolution. You do know that the sun is a star don't you? You know it's not a life form, right?

There is not enough energy possible to sustain the Sun for one day let alone billions of years.
And yet we see it every day.

You really don't understand physics, just how massive the sun is, and how nuclear fusion works. Not that I'm an expert, but I do have at least a basic understanding.

Evolution doesn't explain the sun. That's what physics, astronomy and cosmology are for.
Also, the sun is driven by nuclear fusion in it's core. Please take a basic course in astronomy.

This guy & "non-existent gravity" guy. Hooboy! A new month & right away we're treated to world-class crazy!
The title of the blog itself is stupid? Is America a canned soup or something?
The Sun & biological stuff are two different things. Evolution deals with the later. You lose! Good day, sir!

How does evolutionism explain the Sun? That's easy. It ignites in the morning and comes up because heat rises. Then it travels across the sky by solar wind. It sets in the evening near Flagstaff Arizona, where it burns up the oxygen in the atmosphere and turns the rocks red before it goes out at night.
Any other questions?

There is not enough energy possible to sustain the Sun for one day let alone billions of years.
I suppose for some lard ass who sits on his couch all day and can barely muster the energy to strech out his arm and pick up the remote, yes, the energy involved in solar fusion would appear impossible.
Luckly there are a few humans who resist the temptations of artificailly imposed religious inanity and discover the world for that which it is and not for that which they wish it to be.
Btw, you're right about one thing: the way you and your kind always describe your God, if he created the "lights" during that first week of creation, he was certainly much too weak to give the sun a substantial amount of energy. We all know how limited your God is.
Oh, and your sentence "there is not enough energy possible to sustain" is very poorly written and illogical. It's easy to understand what you mean, but it's nonsense at its syntactical face value.
