Quote# 90471

[In reference to Michael Moore's C Punch ads]
Every real American should see these ads and understand they represent utter moral and intellectual degeneracy. Realize these ads represent a growing number of millions of people who want "their side" to have total political power. Compare these ads to the propaganda in Germany in the 1930's, demonzing Jews and others. Marxism infiltrated America, took control of all our major cultural institutions and destroyed them. Now the resulting vile hate and violence is being kicked into overdrive. Imagine these people, a few years from now, getting the total power they crave. These demonic attitudes are the precursors to murderous violence, civil war and even genocide. The leftists have embraced pure Evil. We should all know what we are dealing with, before it grows out of control and consumes our nation in the flames of hatred.

Oh man that fox news land you live in sounds really scary. It's a good thing the rest of us live in reality land.

represent a growing number of millions of people who want "their side" to have total political power

Yeah. They are called 'Republicans'.

Well, Boob, oops Bob, I would tend to agree with one itsy bitsy bit of this:"...people who want "their side" to have total political power." However, it is not who you think it is. It is the far-right evangelical Taliban that wants America to be the law of the land (as determined by THEM).

Marxism took control of all American major cultural institutions ? really ?

NASCAR ?
The Superbowl ?
Grand ol Opry ?
Baseball ?
High School Proms ?
The USMC ?
Fox news ?

These are all Marxist ?

I took this post, replaced "leftists" with "the Right" and it was even more accurate.

"represent a growing number of millions of people who want "their side" to have total political power"

Like all those right-wingers who go on about how people shouldn't be allowed to vote except for their candidates? (see Erik Rush's "we need to begin the disenfranchisement of socialists" post from a week or so ago).

Realize these ads represent a growing number of millions of people who want "their side" to have total political power.

You mean conservatives?

Imagine these people, a few years from now, getting the total power they crave.

Totally frightening. If this country ever does turn into the United States of Jesusland I think I'll have to move to Canada or Europe.

That ad was funny as hell!

Though advertising you disagree with isn't signs of marxism or anything of the sort. It's just a sign of first amendment rights.

50 bucks say Bob has never seen Nazi propaganda.

"Imagine these people, a few years from now, getting the total power they crave. These demonic attitudes are the precursors to murderous violence, civil war and even genocide. They are in power of Western Europe for 60 years now, how many wars and genocide have we had since then?

Except, I'd highly doubt Bob The Boob would look this good.

I have no idea what he's talking about. Anyone care to provide a link for some context, please? And yes I see the bit that says it's about an ad by Michael Moore, but I've never seen the ad and couldn't find it on YouTube.

That's a great ad. Like the Repubs aren't at all trying to deter high voter turnout, which unarguably favors the Democrats. It's really not something that can be denied. They know what they're fucking doing. They say they want "everyone to vote," but then do everything they can to make it as difficult as possible.

Everything is backward in Right Wing fundie land. Liberals want the majority to vote, so they're Nazis. Universal Health care is all about death panels. Insurance companies being required to cover birth control is a human rights violation. Actually dealing with bullying in schools to help LGBT children who suffer and may become suicidal is "anti-family-values." Fucking Bizarro World.

This is what happens when "Opposite Day" collides with "The Blackhole of Stupidity".

I know! I'll toss out a "Germany in the 30's" reference. That'll get 'em!

@Wehpudicabok

This is the ad with a group of elderly people in a rest home with somewhat colorful vocabularies. One elderly women threatens to C-Punch Romney while another elderly woman states that if Romney win they (the old people) will "burn this motherfucker down".

Here it is: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f17fWth3YgA&feature=plcp

If you're easily weirded-out by swearing for some weird reason, here's the de-sweared version:

Yea! How dare those American citizens exercise their freedom of speech! Marxism, I say! Communists! Generic Red Scare insult! Booga-booga!

To me a "C Punch" sounds like something you'd find at a stationer's.

The reality didn't live up to my mental image :(

"Compare these ads to the propaganda in Germany in the 1930's." Ok. Done it. They're not in any way similar.
And, really? All this for an old lady saying "cock punch"? How do you get from that to genocide?

11/5/2012 12:03:42 AM

Swede

So, the Religous Right do NOT want total political power? Somehow I doubt that...
The propaganda in Germany in the 1930s also demonized homosexuals. You would never do something like that, right?

If Marxists are in control of the American politics and culture, how come you only have two right-wing parties?

Oh, yes, we leftist have embraced the pure Evil of tolerance and respect for people with differing opinions. How DARE we?

11/5/2012 1:30:43 AM

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

"Took control of our cultural institutions and destroyed them"

See: Fox News, the Right Wing buyout of nearly all commercial radio stations in the US, the GOP defunding the NEA and trying to defund PBS.

"Imagine these people a few years from now getting the total power they crave"

See: The Supreme Court decisions in Bush v. Gore and Citizen's United, Congressional Republicans deliberately trying to destroy the nation's credit rating and block EVERY bill that would help the economy recover for their own poitical gain, and announcing on camera that their primary goal was to deny the president another term, GOP attempts to do away with Habeas Corpus and wiretapping laws, the conspiracy and lies that brought the Iraq war, the fraudulent charges with which the GOP dismantled ACORN to supress the poor/minority vote, voter suppression laws, voter caging, Diebold, it coming out a week before the presidential election that Romney's family owns major interest in the voting machines in Ohio, AND NOBODY ON THE NEWS FUCKING SAYING ANYTHING ABOUT IT. Just IMAGINE if that were Obama!

You have zero idea what Marxism is.

"Marxism infiltrated America, took control of all our major cultural institutions and destroyed them. Now the resulting vile hate and violence is being kicked into overdrive."

Yeah, those marxists shooting doctors at clinics. Next there will be students exercising their second amendment rights at each other at school.

"Compare these ads to the propaganda in Germany in the 1930's, demonzing Jews and others. "

I read your post, and I see the similarities.

"Compare these ads to the propaganda in Germany in the 1930's, demonzing Jews and others..."

Weird Jewish Stereotype VS. Feisty Granny...Nah, don't see much in the way of similarity.
