LOL, I've always wondered what Meat Loaf was getting at with that line. Will he not have anal sex? Will he not engage in teabagging? Will he not snowball? What won't he do?

What she says:
\"Now that my eyes are open, I can see God's love in so many places!\"
What she means:
\"Now that I'm looking for God's love, I can find it anywhere even if it doesn't exist\"
And how do you see a picture of Jesus from that song?

Never underestimate the power of the human mind to draw connections and form patterns, even if they don't really exist. We're wired to do it.
It just gets annoying when people think this tendency somehow proves something.

PenetratingShaftOfTruthAndSemen: Well, the song is actually about Vampires. (I'm serious, that's why it has lines like \"Will you hose me down with holy water, if I get too hot\"... So \"I won't do that\" means that he won't turn the chick into a vampire like him...

I, on the other hand, can't stop thinking of that stupid Dr. Pepper commercial when I hear that song.

OttawaUk almost has it. Meat Loaf is the closest thing to God on Earth. BUT, he's gotta know, before you go any further - do you love him? Will you love him forever? 'cause we were barely seventeen and we were barely dressed.

Thank you, Tindalos. Being anti-Meatloaf for most of my life, I never studied his music long enough to try to figure out his enigmatic lyrics. Knowing what you just told us, that makes this fundie's quote even more hilarious! A song about vampires makes her think of jebus?? LOLOL

Wow
The line \"It's cold and lonely in the deep, dark night... I can see Paradise by the dashboard light\" made me think of 3rd base, not Jesus. But what do I know?

I'm pretty sure the song's not about vampires. I heard what he won't do, is whatever's in the verse right before it ("I'll never forgive myself if we don't go all the way tonight...no I won't do that."). As in what he won't do (in that verse) is forgive himself.

Wait a second, I thought Meat Loaf was satanic. YOU ARE NOT A TRUE CHRISTIAN. REPENT, HERETIC.

Christian music sucks, I substitute meaning in better music.
Like when Cartman changed a few words in songs and became a best selling christian rock star.
Meatloafs lyricist, Steinman I believe writes the songs out of Cliches, must have a book of them. Still don't know how OttawaUk gets around some of the obvious parts of the songs.

of course meat loaf is divine, when he sings,"hot patootie bless my soul, i really love that rock and roll," he's really saying "jesus bless my soul, i really love that flat earth and creationism"
duh
