I quit. I will no longer support filthy lazy liberal bastards. I’ll be taking an early retirement within a year or so. The liberal scum will no longer get any $ from me. Let the scum starve. And when all the producers finally quit (as always happens with socialism), and the grocery shelves are empty, and the scum shows up on my doorstep begging for a handout, or try to steal from my garden or take my game, I’ll blow their stupid communist heads plumb off.

Tell that to the Swedes - socialist policies have dominated their nation for decades, and they're as strong as ever, having emerged largely unharmed from the rest of the world's financial crisis due to the inherent stability of their socialist system.

Socialism is an economic system in which the means of production belong to everybody - which in reality means "the government" Nobody is trying to implement anything like this here in the US.
People were unhappy with restriction of personal freedom. Which is not an economical issue, but an issue of totalitarian government style. It seems, totalitarianism is the preferred governing method of religious fundamentalists of any denomination.

The more and more of these rants that I read, the more and more I become convinced that the U.S.A. will be facing some quite serious outbreaks of terrorism in the next dozen or so years.
These guys are backing themselves into a corner and will, eventually, convince themselves that there is no other way out.
While all of these guys are clearly insane, not all of them are stupid.
America's unacknowledged militarism, the phenomonally easy access to weapons and other military grade equipment practically ensures that some of these nutjobs will avoid the FBI/local law enforcement winnowing and evolve into locally dangerous insurgent groups.
