BTW, the vote for same-sex marriage in Maryland was actually closer to 52 to 48 percent.
This was the same point spread for the passage of an act creating the 6th casino in the state — it had nothing to do with legalizing casinos for the first time.
Mtown is too dumb to breathe, let alone be allowed anywhere near a voting machine.

What's so bad about this? Far better than "You can't marry who you want" and "You can't have an abortion even if you need one to save your life."
My state, Maryland, is not only overtly pro Obama, they also voted yes to gay marriage by about 80%
It wasn't 80% at all, more like around 51% to 48% or so. If only states would vote it in at 80%, then maybe we'd be a lot better off.
I think a lot of us here are sad and angry because we know we are seein the end of America the once great country.
In other words, "Democracy only works when people vote the way I want them to."

I'm proud of my state! Expanding the slots was the right thing to do, not because I actually believe that millions will be funneled into education (this one will have to be proven because it sounds like complete bullshit to me), but because of the thousands of jobs it will create. People are going to be put to work and we all know how important that is.
Also, I'm thrilled that gay marriage was passed - more states should be passing it!
There are far worse things humans can do than love one another. For confirmation of this one essential truth, look to the GOP.

Iranians actually constitute such a threat that the Arabs have started viewing the Persians as such a large threat that they are more willing to negotiate with America more favorably. Both Persians and Arabs are muslims, but one side fears the other... so I'm pretty sure Muslim are mostly happy with Obama becuase he actually treats them like people instead of people who should go crusade against. It's amusing IN EU3, it's dumb here.

Yep. Gay marriage won by popular vote in four states, just like how Prop h8 passed by popular vote in California four years ago. The Question in Maryland even passed by the same margin (52%).

We are a country based on liberty. This includes the individual liberty for others to do things you may not personally approve of so long as they don't violate yours or any others' individual rights.
