I somehow suspect that Obama wouldn't have fit in at one of the Nuremburg Rallies.

Frankly, he's just a centrist, somewhat right on some issues, somewhat left on others. Not exterme on anything and steadfast on very few things.

I think this quote illustrates how the stupidity of conservative voters led to the total shock & surprise of Obama's victory, and even now they can't seem to make actual sense of it. When they claim that Obama is anything remotely like a Nazi and then claim that it's the same as socialism, no wonder all they can say is "the election was rigged!"

Very odd use of the word "Nazism". "Nazionalsocializmus" is not "socialism". I don't know how many times I've pointed this out to people on the internet. George Orwell's definition of Nazism is the most pertinent here: "A form of capitalism which adopts such measures of socialism as make it efficient for war purposes". (Something like that).
Here are some features of Nazism/fascism: racism, elitism, nationalism, militarism, hierarchy.
Here are some features of socialism/communism: Egalitarianism, internationalism, common ownership, classlessness.
Please note the difference.
