All the ACLU does is bring lawsuits into court complaining that the Constitution is being violated. The ACLU presents their arguments, the defendants present theirs, and the lawsuits are decided by judges, not the ACLU.

Well, ask whoever looks after you to show you the first part which is called 'The Old Testament'. Attacks on the UCLA are very thinly disguised attacks on the Constitution. That's what the UCLA does, defends Constitution rights and exposes violations.
But they can't directly attack the constitution as it's so enshrined in American society (Although some fundies do use that approach) so they try and potray it's defenders as somehow not American enough.
What these people want is a theocracy which the constitution denies, as you dig deeper into their world you'll see they want the Constitution rewritten or scrapped to promote that. Dominionist tactics.

My understanding was that the ACLU was a group that fought for civil liberties of all Americans. Like some sort of union or something.
