You're going to feel awful silly when he actually steps down at the end of his second term while your sitting there with a militerised border, no international allies and widespread poverty.

I guess that's why he campaigned for president, ASKING people for their votes, instead of just taking power with some secret Kenyan voodoo magic.
Frankly, the blue states are the ones supporting your red-state asses, since you take more in benefits from the Federal government than you put in. So, go ahead and secede, and see how you like your freedom from the awful tyranny of our social security, medicare, food stamps, highway funds, postal services, medical research, FEMA disaster relief (of which you also usually take the lion's share, even though you badmouth it), etc.
We'll make popcorn and watch.

One guy in Congress considered proposing a bill to repeal the 22nd Amendment, which limits the President to 2 terms. In order to pass, this would require 2/3 of the states to ratify.
Considering how most Republicans and Democrats are against repealing the 22nd Amendment, I don't see Obama serving more than the 2 terms he was elected for.

Funny thing about the 22nd Amendment: it didn't affect Truman, since he was already President when it passed. (Then he did poorly in the early 1952 primaries and dropped out.) The first person it hit was Eisenhower, meaning that instead of him facing Kennedy, Nixon had to.
Also, as for discarding the first ten, how many soldiers are you being made to quarter?

Yes, hello, Federal Bureau of Investigation? There's some guy ranting about civil war and assassinating the president. I think he's a terrorist... No, he's not kidding... Yes, because he says this kind of stuff all the time... Well, because right-wing nutjobs are the most statistically likely group to commit terrorism, and he totally fits the bill... Yeah. Uh-huh. Thanks a lot. Bye.

But what did he even do? I mean, I dislike him for signing the NDAA and not closing the Guantanamo Bay prisons, but to hear these people talk you'd think he's been sending dissenters to the fucking Gulags!

OK, just how exactly do you think he's going to refuse to obey the 22nd Amendment? You think we're going to have to serve eviction papers on him at the White House on January 21st, 2017?
Reading posts like this from people who think the president can do whatever he wants makes me realize what happened to all those classmates who used to sleep in American Government class back in high school.

Retards were saying the same thing about Bush and guess what.
There would have to extreme circumstances for any President to remain in office and even then it isn't very likely. Roosevelt was the last President that will ever serve more then 2 terms.

Actually, Roosovelt was the only one to serve more than two terms and prompted the amendment because it had been tradition before him.

Idi Amin? The batshit insane Idi Amin who gave people of Asian origin 24 hours to pack up and leave?
Ah, of course, Amin was black and so is Obama. That immediately makes them of the same mind.
(Would most of these Moonbats even be able to find Uganda on a map in under 60 minutes? I have my doubts.)
