And Al Gore invented the internet, obviously. Your knowledge of basic logic is egregious.

this is the first time i've ever heard a jesus creation story. his knowledge of his own religion is egregious.

It's Yahoo! Message Boards. They are beyond useless. My guess is that he's a rather uninspired troll.

If there ain't evidence for it, and there ain't any way it could be proven wrong, it ain't science.

How can knowledge be egregious? Shouldn't the lack of knowledge be egregious. Egregious means conspicuously bad or offensive. I don't see how egregious knowledge makes any sense.

1/18/2006 7:00:46 AM

That was my thought, too. Then again, since that pesky \"knowledge\" has a tendency to pull the rug out from under various literalist religious beliefs, I guess to some people knowledge might be \"conspicuously bad or offensive.\"

Here's a great article from a great site.

From 'most literal' to 'most creative' to 'highest synergy with science' we have the following creation beliefs.
Flat Earthers (they do exist)
Young-Earth Creationism
Old Earth Creationism
Gap Creationism
Day-Age Creationism
Progressive Creationism
Intelligent Design Creationists
Evolutionary Creationism
Theistic Evolution
Materialist Evolutionism

The question is - \"Juvenile Earth Evangelistic Creation\"

Now we have born again evangelistic creationism. Is the pre or post flat Earth for insanity?

The Last Conformist

\"this is the first time i've ever heard a jesus creation story. his knowledge of his own religion is egregious.\"

IIRC, the Mormons hold that it was the Son, not the Father, who handled the daytoday management of the creation of our world. Maybe he is one?

Oh yeh? Well Jesus is coming and is He PISSED!

King Spirula

So..Jesus \"invented\" the world? Did he get a patent? When does it expire cause I want to try to?

1/18/2006 5:13:27 PM

According to the OED, \"egregious\" can also mean \"remarkably good\". It's an archaic meaning, but the only one that makes sense here. A wonderful Freudian slip there, I feel.

1/18/2006 5:33:13 PM

\"Egregious (adj): conspicuously bad or offensive\"

Knowledge can be incomplete. It can be misinformed. It can be plain wrong. It can be primitive, it can be any number of things.

But come on - bad or offensive?!

I vote \"Grandalokwayshus Award.\"

I heard Jesus was quite the carpenter, but wow.....

I wish we could come up with a suitable award for this little trainwreck of a post. So much so wrong in so few words.

THE Citizenfitz

What an egregious series of posts. If Jesus were to drop a bomb on you all, satan would be left without his troll army.

If your aunt had balls, she'd be your uncle. What's your point?

I can hear Al Gore screaming: \"I invented the Internet!\"

5/20/2007 8:53:24 PM

Has a thesaurus, doesn't quite know how to use the words in it.

5/20/2007 9:01:37 PM

Mr Smith

Someone swallowed a dictionary for breakfast this morning didn't they?

Shame you didn't read it and learn to use the new word you found in the proper context.

Quantum Mechanic

Jesus never existed you stupid joke.

TvTropes called, they want their word back. And it doesn't mean what you think it means.
