It's mostly agreed by historians that a highly controversial and influential Jewish preacher named Jesus of Galilee lived sometime from 7~2 BC to 30~36 BC, was baptized by a famous preacher named John "The Baptist" and was crucified by Pontius Pilate.

Any other detail is speculation.
