"[C]hildren of the Gods"? "The servants of the Demiurge lord of darkness"? I know I have a rather low opinion of Gnosticism and its scorn of the material world, but Krieger's doing one better. Must have taken ideas from "The Revenge of Camelot".

For those of you wondering what I'm talking about, some strains of Gnosticism (like the one embodied in TRoC) say that there's only ever been a finite number of actual souls in the Demiurge-created universe. Aeons in miniature, basically. Which means that any humans in excess of that number...well...aren't really humans, just archon automatons which exist only to keep the aeonic souls in (somehow) Demiurge-glorifying misery. Suffice to say this is quite the opposite of Valentinian Gnosticism, which believes that even the Demiurge will ultimately be redeemed. This sort? The Demiurge should be effaced, along with all his works.

If Krieger's devotion to the Asatru gods is anything to go by, he probably mapped the new world created after the Ragnarøk to the restoration of the cosmos to pure pneuma. He's no mere human--that is, no agent of the archons. He's an aeon, a god incapable of wrong. (How much do you want to bet he doesn't believe in free will?)
