Your whole argument hinges on this idea that the only thing keeping us all from being as bigoted as you is the belief that homosexuality isn't a choice. But there's an even bigger belief that you haven't even touched: we think there's nothing wrong with being gay. And the facts bear that out, you fatuous windbag.

Your petty shitbaggery is not a self evident fact, it's just empty hate. And you have failed to convince me, for one, otherwise. This is hardly surprising: the idea of actually having evidence for your beliefs must be an alien one.

schmenz is making a false analogy, which means comparing two situations, things, people, etc. that are not actually identical.

In this case, he is comparing homosexuality, which basically means the desire to have sex with the same sex instead of the opposite, to murdering and bank robbing, which rob others of their rights and cause pain or death.

The reason he is making this mistake is because his "ethical standards" are based on what does or does not violate propriety, rather than what does or does not harm others. Because of this presupposition, he "flattens" all violations into the same category.
