Any other countries out there don't want to be helped? Form an orderly queue, now.

Basically, it says that as a discussion grows longer, a comparison to Nazis will eventually be made.

There is a tradition in lots of newsgroups that when that comparison is made, the thread is over and whoever made it has lost the argument.

Last time I saw \"help\" used in that context it was referring to an IT \"Help\" Desk.

...at least he realised they didn't want to be invaded.

Yeah, and thank god we helped those poor mentally ill people around the turn of the 20th century by putting them in asylums, sterilizing them, lobotomizing them, and subjecting them to electroshock therapy...

Maybe I'm going out on a limb, but I'm betting the 30,000+ men, women, and children that have been burned, shot, blown up as innocent civilians since this 'war' started really appreciate the \"help\"...God really did bless them didn't he?

Especially Fallujah. God's Army helped the poor people in Fallujah THREE times. And where was Allah all that time? Think of how many terrorists they killed!</sarcasm>

And think more of how many terrorists you can enlist when thousands lose their homes, families and their ability to obtain food.

Actually KS I think you just went out on well over 150,000 limbs. 4 for each fatality, and the rest are just those unfortunate maimings that were God's will...

How can he actually say that you CAN'T help people who won't help themselves, then praise America for doing what he JUST said CAN'T be done? This has got to be good for another runner-up on the Non-Contradiction Award this month.

So showing up uninvited, forceable removing a dictator who was the only thing keeping the country united out of power, and then sit back and let the whole place fall into chaos and civil war counts as helping? Then we sure as hell helped Iraq.

It's interesting to see the different arguments the wingnuts are preparing for when it's agreed by everyone that the Iraq invasion was a failure. \"Our intentions were wonderful, but those damn towelheads just didn't want to be helped!\"
