Just because something is legal doesn't make it right.......slavery was legal, women not having the right to vote was legal but KNOWING all men are equal and our Constitution says these things I KNOW these wrongs were overturned such as the homosexual agenda will soon be. I specifically mentioned the USA for a reason and that was because 1-2% of the homosexual population is responsible for over 62% of all aids/hiv cases in the USA band that is up 10% in 2009. What goes on in the rest of the world doesn't affect the USA.

Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof. Till then, wrong on all counts.

Given what your bible has to say on the subjects of slavery and women's rights, maybe you need to consider that it's also wrong on the subject of homosexuality. (Not that it mentions it remotely as often). And I'd be very interested in knowing where you got your "statistics" from.
"What goes on in the rest of the world doesn't affect the USA."
Much as you might want to believe this, I'm afraid you're sadly deluded.

Lying for Jesus is still lying.

Even if what you were saying was true, the solution would be to provide safe sex education, not deny people the right to marry.

I KNOW these wrongs were overturned such as the homosexual agenda will soon be.

Didn't 4 states recently vote in same sex marriage/civil unions? So no.

1-2% of the homosexual population is responsible for over 62% of all aids/hiv cases

And heterosexual husbands are responsible for 100% of all cases of wife beatings.

So what?

Umm, you list a couple forms of oppression which date back to antiquity, point out they have been overturned to allow greater equality and freedom, and attempt to use these facts to support your assertion that "teh ghey adjender" will be pushed back?

... Wanna rethink that?

Doubting Thomas

these wrongs were overturned such as the homosexual agenda will soon be.

LOL! Yeah, keep telling yourself that. That's why gay marriage was just approved by voters in a couple states. Face it, gay marriage and homosexual equality is going to be a reality very soon. Just wait until the Supreme Court cases next year.

What goes on in the rest of the world doesn't affect the USA.

The hell it doesn't. I know he's talking about gay marriage policies elsewhere but crap I can't stand these idiots and their isolationist mindset. It's these kind of idiots who think that the USA is the greatest country in the world and anything anyone else is doing is somehow bad or wrong, even when we could benefit from it. Like for instance, homosexual equality, socialized medicine, or rampant atheism.

So, presumably what went wrong with the auto industry was that everyone just stopped buying cars, right?

Because lower labour costs in India and China couldn't POSSIBLY affect the USA. So that must be it.

"Just because something is legal doesn't make it right"

Your bigotry is legal, but that doesn't make it right. And it's in the process of becoming not legal.

Slavery, women's right to vote, gay marriage. Oh, they belong together alright but not in the way you seem to think. Society has trended toward MORE freedom, not less and increased freedom has usually trumped the moral outrage of the day.

It happened with slavery (conservatives saw it as a moral institution), it happened with women's right to vote (conservatives opposed it on their claim that women are irrational and emotional, some few still do), more recently it happened with interracial marriage. Now it'll happen with gay marriage.

What goes on in the rest of the world doesn't affect the USA.

Even if Europe, Asia, and Africa were on a different planet or separated by some impenetrable miasma there's still our direct neighbors Mexico and Canada. Mexico is affecting us enough (through immigration) that the ultra conservatives are throwing a huge conniption fit and Arizona even put racial profiling into law.

So the United States is located on the moon now or what?

If all men are created equal, then why would the "homosexual agenda" be overturned since GLBT people are only after equality? Banning gay marriage was/is also legal, but hey... Eventually the whole issue with same sex marriage will fade away once society evolves further.

Also pretty sure that heteros are at a higher risk of contracting and spreading HIV. Not that that has anything to do with the equal rights movement in the first place.

"I KNOW these wrongs were overturned such as the homosexual agenda will soon be."

You don't seem to have a very good historical perspective of civil rights if you think this.

So I guess you support pulling all the troops out of Iraq and Afghanistan, closing down all overseas military bases, not letting the U.S. Navy patrol outside U.S. territorial waters, ending all support for Israel, shutting down all intelligence operations outside U.S. borders, and ending all foreign trade agreements. Just so we've got that straight.

"and our Constitution says these things I KNOW these wrongs were overturned such as the homosexual agenda will soon be."

(emphasis added):

'For happily the Government of the United States, which gives to bigotry no sanction, to persecution no assistance, requires only that they who live under its protection should demean themselves as good citizens, in giving it on all occasions their effectual support.'

-George Washington

And I KNOW your precious 'Jesus' doesn't so much as mention, never mind condemn, homosexuality in the New Testament. And doesn't the NT basically render all the old 'laws' in the OT null and void.../!

Now Sit DOWN for Christ, you bigoted cunt.

"What goes on in the rest of the world doesn't affect the USA", eh? Then why are most of the cases of HIV & AIDS in Africa, and mostly among heterosexuals on that continent?

And stop being so Americentric. After all, [b]who was it - and where - did your previous God Emperor of Fucking Up, George Dumbya Bush go crawling to for support of his invasion of Iraq, to lend his 'crusade' even a subatomic particle of credibility...? Yes, that's right: Tony Blair, Prime Minister of the UK.

Question: Why is Mitt the Tit Romney all for outsourcing to China, yet on the other hand, Obama bailed out the motor industry in Detroit? Take your time, I know it can be a difficult - and beliefs/politics-annihilating - question to answer for the hard of thinking such as you.

And yes this is said jokingly. Stand for crust... just shut up. You're making us Hetrosexuals look bad.

[slavery was legal]

But it is a violation of liberty.

[women not having the right to vote was legal]

But it is a violation of liberty.

[homosexual agenda]

But it is a violation of... err... no. It isn't a violation of liberty. Actually, to deny gay rights would in fact be the actual violation of liberty.

>> 1-2% of the homosexual population is responsible for over 62% of all aids/hiv cases in the USA band that is up 10% in 2009<<

That is a lie.

In the United States, the number of new HIV infections in 2010 was 47,000, as compared to a total number of patients of 1.1 million. That's only 4.27%. And men who have sex with men accounted for 2% of the population and 61% of new infections in 2009.

And the CDC category for identifying causes of infection is "men who have sex with men" for a very good reason - that set of people is not the same as the set of people who are homosexual. Obviously, it skips over all of the lesbians. It also skips over gay men who are not sexually active, but includes predominately straight men who had sex with another man at some time (situational sexuality in high-risk populations, most notably).

Data from http://www.cdc.gov/hiv/resources/factsheets/us.htm. Fortunately, HIV infections can be managed. Unfortunately, they are not managed as well as they could be.

>>What goes on in the rest of the world doesn't affect the USA.<<

Just because something is legal doesn't make it right, .slavery was legal, women not having the right to vote was legal and denying homosexuals the right to marry the person they love is legal. Thankfully society has corrected the first two and is working to correct the last one.

Ignoring the rest of your crap, are you really this stupid? The US is a global empire now, not to mention a global economy. What happens anywhere in the world affects us. What happens here affects other places, too. Why do you think there was so much foreign interest in the presidential elections?
