It is the ACLU, which is largely funded by Jews and has a legal department that is almost exclusively Jewish, that is leading the attack against Christianity in America. It is they who have conned far too many people into believing that when the First Amendment states that Congress is prohibited from establishing a state religion, what it really means is that a Christmas wreath can’t be placed on City Hall. They also cynically ignore the part that prohibits Congress from “abridging the free exercise” of religion.

There are even rumors that the Pope knew where the jews were hiding among occupied Europe and had whistleblowers tell the fascist authorities where they were hiding to deport them. It's doubtful they'll acknowledge that but it still shows Christianity was not innocent in WWII. Hell, one of Hitler's speeches (in Passau, October 27, 1928) advocated a unification of Christianity.
Your right to free exercise of your religion stops when it infringes upon the rights of others. Surely even you can understand that if my religion involves human sacrifice my right to free exercise will be "abridged." Equally, your right to free exercise does not include evangelizing the children of others in public schools. How many of which ethnic group died fighting in WWII is not relevant.

When I see things like this, I start to think the only reason the American-Right roots for Israel is so their militaries can have a constant excuse to bomb brown people, giving them more wanking material once the news reports it because they're too old, near sighted, or flat footed to actually join the military.
These guys don't love Israel, or the Jewish people. They still think they're a bunch of "Christ-killers" in a passive aggressive overdrive fashion.

Yes, most of them Russian. Of course it was also Christian soldiers who guarded the concentration camps, but I expect you'd say they weren't True Christians.

Approximately 1.6 million Jewish soldiers (as part of armies) fought in WW2 against the Nazis. Most were in the Soviet Army, many others in the British, American, Canadian, Free French, etc. A couple of hundred thousand more fought in the various resistance movements. On a basis of population, more Jews served in WW2 against the Nazis per capita than members of any other religion. I know several of the few who remain alive.
You can keep saying that America is a Christian nation from now until the sun rises in the north, and it won't make it true.
Leaving aside the fact that the godless Russians paid the highest price for defeating Nazi Germany, while liberatiing the largest of the concentration camps in the process, you do know that the Nazis were Christians, don't you?

Actualy, most of the soldiers who fought against Nazi Germany... were ATHEISTS.
The nazis themselves were predominantly christian, and considered themselves to be engaging in a holy crusade against godless communism.

It should never be forgotten that it was conservatives who fought joining WWII in the first place, it was liberals who invaded Nazi Germany and who liberated the concentration camps. It's conservatives who today claim these camps never existed.
I like quotes like these. They remind people that, as much as the fundamentalists say they love Israel, they have nothing but contempt for Jewish people. At best they see Jews as pawns in their divine drama. At worst they see them as, well, Bert here showed it better than I could ever explain it.

Seeing as the Spanish Inquisition targeted Jews and forced them to convert to Christianity, hide their faith, or die, this statement is extremely fucked up on many levels.
