Dear Myspacers,
Please learn how to spell and use proper grammar. If you must insult us, please do so in a way that doesn't insult yourself.
Love and Kisses,

We can't give you the anatomy of a soul for exactly the same reason we can't give you blueprints to Santa's house, factory or sleigh, or the tooth fairy's minting press!
Methinks someone who can't even spell their own name correctly isn't going to comprehend a lesson in particle physics

\"how does logic explain why you should be a good person?\"
The same way religion describes how to be an egocentric self serving hypocritical contradicting asshole. <3

\"how does logic explain why you should be a good person?\"
Logic doesn't explain it. Evolution does.
I will suppose, for the sake of argument, that he knows Santa and his friends don't exist. Maybe I'm giving him too much credit. After all, can anyone prove Santa isn't sitting at the right of the father?
Doesn't he realize that children strongly believe in Santa, just as he does in god, and then they discover Santa is only an invention? They themselfs are the best argument against god. Amazing.
In his defence, I must say that Jon can be a valid name in certain regions of Europe (but I still think is an spelling error).

Jon Anderson (of Yes). That spelling is not uncommon in Europe.
I love this line: \"science can't prove everything. fuck scientific proof.\"
How can it prove anything when fundies won't accept the proof?

\"or tell me why oppsite charges attract. or why a proton and electron will be drawn to each other?\"
I remember i read something about opposite charges being attracted to eachother because of the spin of the exchange particles that govern the interaction. A brief google-search didn't really reveal anything on the topic, but perhaps someone here can point me in the right direction? (Preferably something a layman like myself can understand.)
One fun thing about fundies is that on occasion they do elicit interesting questions :)

...Because the concept of a soul doesn't HAVE an anatomy, since it's not a physical being, stupid?

Well, yeah, science can't explain everything right now. But scientists know a whole hell of a lot more than they did a hundred years ago, and in another hundred years they'll know even more. The fact that science can't explain everything at this very moment doesn't make it any less valid.

first off all, science can't prove everything. fuck scientific proof.
Alright. Show me a better way of approaching reality.
why the hell can't a scientist give me the anatimy of a soul?
Because there is no soul.
or tell me why oppsite charges attract. or why a proton and electron will be drawn to each other?
I don't know, it just is.
and you can awnser that, then why is that the awnser?
What?
how does logic explain why you should be a good person?
It doesn't. Apart from that, morality sometimes has something to do with... how do you call it... oh, empathy.
explain to me why a 4year old can have faith in santa and the easter bunny, but you cant believe in the very being that is the soul reason for your existence.
What?

Logic can tell why one should be a good person. Lets say you find the idea of you friends and family being murdered appalling. Therefore, It makes sense that you don't murder anyone yourself. Same goes for being stolen from and lied to, etc.

Science did procure a funny little "gadget" called Spell-checker. You should get one, really; it would make your texts at least look like they're worth taking seriously.
When you are a good person, other people will like you, and you will feel good inside. The good things you do will benefit other people and they will also feel good inside.
Is that enough logic to be a good person?
I didn't have faith in either Santa or the Easter Bunny when I was four. For one, we don't have the Easter Bunny in Sweden, not like that. Furthermore; my parents didn't want us to believe fairy tales are real, so they made sure we knew it was just dad in that Santa mask, and that it was all great fun. The few years we had a Santa at all, that is.
Do you mean "sole reason"? Which is the thing, by the way? Freya? Gaia? Minerva? Kali? Or perhaps solidarity? Love? Tolerance and respect?

Bercause a 4 year old is a 4 year old, but religious dolts came in all ages. Furthermore, it would be no more possible to explain the anatomy of a soul than of a pink unicorn's testicles. Both are equally non-existent.
BTW, isn't Garfield's long-suffering owner named Jon?

BINGO!! Give the lad a lollipop. (And some English lessons.)
(Uh oh, I see I've already commented on this. Never mind, it's worthy of two responses.)
