Sadly, this could actually lead someone to suicide if they believe this.

"Christian"women are on antidepressants because it's the only way they can endure"Christian" lives under the thumbs of "Christian"men.

"The Bible says women are supposed to be sober."
And what? Guys are allowed to be shitfaced 24/7?
In fundieland any medical procedure more advanced than bloodletting or leeches is the devil's work.

Hi,
if Christians do follow this advice it would explain a lot, or?

No Christian ought to be on psychiatric meds, period.
With so many hypocritical Christians out there these days I think we should all applaud this pastor who is clearly taking his own advice.

I'm bipolar and all that keeps me from being violent or harming myself is staying the course with my prescribed meds. I would love to sue this scumbag for practicing medicine without a license.

Rule No. 1: Any sentence that begins "The Bible says" must not be taken seriously.

You're practically screaming that sound mental health is a dire threat to religious dogma.
So do you advocate embracing the approach of a mental breakdown as part of the Lord's plan to make you the next Job or just excommunicating the mentally unwell from the ranks of Christianity the moment they get the help they need?

Ok.
Imagine being in high school, on a trip to Quebec, and just generally having a good time.
Now imagine that being ruined by waking up every night with a panic attack.
It's not fun, buddy. Anxiety meds work.

You remind me of Tom Cruise berating Brook Shields for being on anti-depressants.
Without my drugs for my severe clinical depression I might have to relieve that depression by beating your lying, ignorant head into the pavement. Go suck rocks, big, sharp, pointy rocks, you a$$hole.

I've said it before, there is nothing more dangerous than an untreated psychotic in a Christian church. Poor bastard not only will never get the help he or she desperately needs, but the nonsense will drive them further over the edge.

I worked for 5 years at a mental hospital. I made an observation, all the patients were extremely religious. Medications kept them sort of under control but did nothing for the delusions.
