"I don't wann hear goddidit"
There are specific instances where the only logical conclusion, would be a designer. This instance would come when evolution is unable to explain something.

No, logic has nothing to do with that conclusion; in fact, logic is what makes such a conclusion impossible. That is why faith and logic don't mix.
Besides, I have yet to hear of a single thing that the ID advocates have shown as supposed evidence of ID that hasn't been turned on its ear and been shown to be evidence of evolution instead. ID is an intellectually bankrupt concept, a farcical parody of science.

Swell. You let us know when that happens, then.<<
Evolution can't explain why my favorite icecream is mint chocolatechip, therefore goddiddit. Simple, eh?

Very true Yahweh...
Actually, taste is twofold, firstly your tastebuds and density or them, but also your nasal receptors and sense of smell, but most importantly your brain and memory map. The first parts are mainly evolutionary, the last part is mainly conditioning. (eating habits etc).
I would put your love of MCC icecream above all others mainly down to never having gone to Baskin Robbins.
goddidit, goddidit, goddidit, goddidit, goddidit, goddidit!
This conclusion brought to you by a lack of understanding that through evolution even the strangest thing we've never thought of is possible should it find a nich.
Of course, figuring out just how it got there may be a very difficult job, but it could potentially get there easily within evolution.
This is why the "God of the Gaps" phrase became popular on both sides. Fundies insisting it was valid and educated people pointing out that gaps have been filled without God showing up.
It's the very core of "the Wedge Document" agenda. Make people doubt most of what is known (by lieing)and demand what isn't known HAS to be THEIR God.
It's their way of creating a world where no evidence can be trusted, or matters because their belief is build on never having any evidence, a lot of them do straight-up claim that's a virtue called faith.
But it's bullshit. As Hitchens pointed out many times "Why does religion get this free pass on proof? No other belief, claim or disipline does. "

That would be the God of the Gaps. He exists where science cannot (yet) reach.
But, let’s look at maggots. They come from eggs laid by flies. That’s the fact. At one time, they were assumed to be created by sunlight shining on raw meat.
An experiment isolated raw meat from flies but still exposed to sunlight and proved that not to be the case.
If creationism had any explanatory power at all, it would be able to exlpain things that evolution already has explained, BUT it would have better evidence for the alternate theory, no?
Design an experiment that makes divine intervention the only possible explanatino, not just the cherished conclusion.
Confused?
