Well, PaulRevere isn't the only man I've heard say things like this. Here in Japan, there is a lot of this type of thinking, except it doesn't just apply to American men. I've also met guys like PaulRevere - at home, they are dateless assholes, but when they step off the plane at Narita airport, they find that they are transformed into assholes that can actually get a bit of sex. Of course, as soon as they go home, they are back to being dateless assholes.
