[Talking about the battle of Armageddon as described in "Revelations"]
I wonder how men can fight when the blood will be as high as the horses bridle? Wont that limit visibility and range of motion? Wont all that blood be diffiicult to walk/drive through? Maybe there will be some new technologies that allow for seeing and breathing while immersed in a huge pool of blood? yuck... what a mess...

Germs aren't real. You can't see them, so they aren't real. Were you there?
God on the other hand, you can't see him, so he IS real.
I'm sorry, but what kind of a moron thinks that something like that could even remotely be taken literally?
Unless you're one of those half wits who thinks a global flood has taken place despite the fact there isn't enough water to cover the earth. If that's the case I guess it's not a huge leap to believe there would be enough blood during a battle, even Armageddon, to be as high as a horses bridle.
Talisman, perhaps Lazarus38 envisions the final battles of humankind taking place in some kind of swimming pool. Maybe some variation of water polo, only in the blood of the unclean instead of water. What a mess indeed.

The best part is the immediate response to Lazarus38:
"my thoughts too."
You'd think that at least one RaptureReady member would chime in with something about hyperbole or something, but none of them do! One person is funny, but a community of such people, all reinforcing each others' craziest opinions, is actually quite disturbing.
You know what, it's not much but I applaud Lazarus38 for at least putting it in question form and almost seeing the absurdity of literal interpretation of a prophetic passage. He(she?) has a good chance of coming to his senses and abandoning the RR fundies.
By the way, if the world was covered in blood wouldn't it clot, rot and eventually become a pile of blowfly maggots as high as a horses bridle?
Last time I was in Israel my hotel room and balcony overlooked the Mt of Olives on my left and the Temple Mount on my right (about 1/2 mile away). At night it was awesome to see the Temple Mount walls lit up and the moonlight illuminating the Mt of Olives and the myriad of graves on the side of the mountain. I could almost see in my mind's eye, Jesus returning from the sky, feet touching down on this mount and all the warfare and slaughter going on all around this hill and valley.

You know, I have no idea why this post was nominated.
I mean, you ever try to swing a sword while chin high in blood, locusts on your head, angels hovering above on flying horses, earthquakes going off about every 4 minutes?
Com'n, give Lazarus a break. He has a valid point.
Well I don't know, Is it an Arabian horse or did crusaders come down with heavy horses?
But it does'nt matter because it's as stupid as the flood story. You people have the concept of war envisioned as badly as Magma fans
Confused?
So were we! You can find all of this, and more, on Fundies Say the Darndest Things!
